The Grammy's are completely worthless. Even if a good band wins, it means nothing because of the other crap winners/nominees.

The Grammy's mean nothing when it comes to talent. They give awards based on sales, and that means nothing to me. :)

I did catch the Dixie Chicks performance with Dylan and the drummer from the Chili Peppers playing with them. I'm not a fan of the Dixie girls, but at least they are writing music that has a cause. Not singing about how much money they have, or how much pussy they get. They are writing about them opposing dipshit Bush. Even if you don't like country music, you have to give them respect for speaking out.

Not like rappers being, "I got money and hoes yo! I'm so fly G" :p Fuckin goons.

I didn't even know it had allready aired. What network was airing it? Whoever it was did a piss poor job of marketing it. I don't even remember seeing a commercial for it.

i <3 the grammies....ok, here i go...

the police..so anticipated..such a disappointment..they sang very little and were so mellow..sounded good, just wasnt the poilce..reminded me of when the eagles came back...

wtf WAS with all the dixie chick wins? gag...

mary j blige..one of my favourite singers...yay!!

that chick who won the internet contest to sing with mr bringinsexyback..she was awesome, and i was very entertained...

rhcp....sounded like garbage...idk, but i didnt like it...

christina aguilera..looked great sounded like she was screeching...

chris brown...look at him dance!!

rascal flatts and carrie underwood did great covers of the eagles, surprisingly enjoyable...

shakira..not caring about it...i cant stand her voice..wyclef looks old...

the corrine bailey rae, john mayer, john legend thing was okay...didnt like the song choices..

the part where they had someone shadow the james brown piecce..brilliant

lastly....the best performance by FAR was smokey robinson and lionel richie, before chris brown...was awesome..they sound teriffic and havent aged a bit...classics at their best

I enjoy watching the Grammy's because music is my passion...whether it be popular music or not, I love it all. Some is about sales maybe, but a lot isn't, as I've never even heard of some of the people nominated, and I've heard it all.

I will say Chris Brown is a fucking unbelivable dancer, and for only 17, wow..he's got quite the road ahead. That was a great performance with Lionel and Smokey.

I think best record should have at least gone to Gnarls Barkley for "Crazy"...that was easily the biggest hit of the year in all aspects, not just in country like the Dixie's.

Out of the nominees for Best Rap Album, Luda definitely deserved it. The guy is doing his thing...had a part in the "Best Movie" (Crash), and now a few more Grammy's to add. He used to talk about stereotypical hip hop issues when he was younger (on his first few albums, but you can't blame these guys sometimes), but he has matured greatly and come into his own with some meaningful songs.

Next year Nas better win a few, that's all I have to say....
