I was pretty sick a few weeks ago and the next day when it felt like I was starting to get over it I smoked and I think I just forgot I was sick also, but I remember I had a cough that lasted a week or more afterwards that I've never hard before or since.

I use a vap when I am sick- which I have been since Monday :( !
It seems to relax me; I'm still sick, but I don't mind quite as much. If I smoke, it makes my throat sore and affects my breathing, since I always get a wicked upper resp type cold. Poor me;)

It can make you feel better or worse i think. I find it usually makes me feel better because i just like don't notice im sick. Just like when i smoked when its cold out i sometimes juts forget that im cold.

it depends, i think generally indoor weed helps me if im having a stomcah or throat related sickness. outdoor is good if you've got a headache, or any body ache.

I don't find the high as enjoyable when I'm sick, as if the illness just drags everything down. My preference is to wait it out.

I don't get really sick very often, but I have a runny nose a lot for whatever reason (allergies, probably, although I'm not sure what to), and let me tell you, being high with a runny nose annoys the hell out of me, partly because tissues feel like nothing and partly because trying to chill out when you're not sure if your nose is running or not is just annoying.

Oh most def. I highly recommend smoking while sick. Like many have already mentioned, you seem to forget about all your ailments for a little while.

Here's what I did a couple weeks ago when I had a bad cold

-Apple Pipe, packed a fat bowl. Smoking from apples are really smooth, and don't hurt your throat.
-Prepared some chicken noodle soup directly after smoking.
-Turn on some relaxing music,
-Take a bath.

Shit...it was like heaven.

i dunno when i have a fever nd im dizzy with a big migraine smoking most of the time makes it worse. but if i just have a cold or nausea type sickness smoking and relaxin helps

if i have a cold or some shit where i'm already coughing or whatever, i take a hit and it feels like my fucking lugs are on fire. For just a feever or whatever random shit i still smoke. to be honest i still smoke even when it feels like my lungs are on fire but it just isn't as fun ;)

It's pretty funny when my whole family gets strep throat except for me and my dad who also smokes. That is because MJ acts as an anti-biotic for the nose, throat, and mouth.

yeah. im getting my tonsils and my abnoids out due to sleep apnea. idk if i should smoke, i know it would probably get my mind off my throat feeling like i swallowed a weedwacker, but im paranoid smoking will harm it and anyway cause it to get an infection, cuz thats the biggest worry. i have to miss 2 weeks of school and drink crazy amount fluids so it wont get infected. so, think i should smoke?

And the bad part was ...it was the day before my parents were going out of town for the weekend. I wouldn't suggest smoking after an operation of that nature. Give it time to heal. If it does become infected (which it most likely will because open sores and smoke do not mix), it will be even more of a nuisance.

Brew it as a tea. That would definitely help. You would get all the benefits without a risk of infection.

When I have a cold I'll usually take a hit or two, but I won't hold it in very long... Flu's too. I've never tried it for vomiting but it works wonders for hang-overs.

one time i had a sore throat, but i still smoked.. because ya know, when you gotta get high you gotta get high. When i would take a hit it felt like my throat was on fire, and my throat was in extreme pain for the rest of the night, and it took longer than usual to get better.

except for when u got a sore throat, then the smoke can irritate it, so just cook the buds into something if you got a sore throat.

ive had severe stomach ulcers for the last 5 months, pretty much been smoking the whole time, if it wasnt for weed i wouldnt be able to eat, or sleep. I live in texas and my doc said that smoking weed while im sick could be benificial since the ulcers prevent me from eating, still dont see why it cant be decriminalized.
