I go to school 4 days a week and I am supposed to only work 4 days a week. However my work fucking sucks and since we are so understaffed all the goddamned time and people have no work ethic and call in ALL the fucking time, I am always working on my day off.

Like today for example, SATURDAY, my USUAL day off...and ONLY day off of the week from work and school...

I look forward to this day all week.

My house is a filthy mess, all my clothes are dirty, and I want to get fucking trashed on my friday night.

SO I go to work yesterday(at 630am MIND you) and the first time I get to find out is that I have to work today..MY GODDAMNED DAY OFF.

To make matters just a little worse, all week long all I talked about was how excited I was that it finally snowed on the mountain and I wanted to go snowboarding since I haven't had a chance yet this season.

SO FUCKING SHIT, now I get to work...

I am really glad you made this thread today because I am really pissed off.

Oh and to make matters worse I am not working in my usual department that I enjoy working in...where I get to work alone...

i love it because i get paid $13 bones an hour....more than what a minor could hope to make elsewhere...i also love it because it exercises myself and i get paid for it....

customer service is fun, i used to do it all the time, you just gotta be really smart (assed) and use your obvious superior conversation skills to make them sound like an idiot.

haha guess why im working in construction now too. i can make decent money without any degree, i get to work outside all the time and it really is like working out, 'specially when you gotta carry 25 sheets of 3/4" ply anywhere by hand.

Ha ha, I work in customer service too! I totally hear you there. Oh my God, the things people will say/argue with you about. I've gotten in a little bit of trouble for being a bit condescending. But hey, 40+ hours a week of work and going to a university full time tends to make you a bit stretched for fun.

Yes, going to university and working full time is hard. Today was my one day off from BOTH, and I am being SUCH a bitch at work..and I swear the customers today are extra fuking bad.

I am on my lunch right now getting high and I just left a man at a cash register because when I was helping the woman in front of him I was taking too long...and he said "What are you ladies doin' over there? Makin' dinner?" and I looked at him and said "I have had a HORRIBLE DAY"..and just walk off.

Well, I hated my job that I DID. But I quit cause it sucked. So now I am going to get a new job probably in either business to business sales or some other kind of sales job. I like doing sales cause it is a challenge one on one with the customer. Overcoming objections and outsmarting even the smartest people.

I also love my customer service job. Finally got in with a place that lets me do it from home on my own. Some days are slow, some days are busy, but even the busy days aren't so bad when you're working in your pjs ;)

A lot of places are switching to the virtual office setup. Especially with VOIP and the net. What I do is a mixed bag, but mostly tech support/sales/billing/master of your account guy. Got a question, or pissed, then I would help. Or at least try :jointsmile:

I hate my job yes, yes i do, I hate it very much! retail sucks! and inventory is coming up soon! woo hoo counting everything in the store for 12 hours straight, is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping to get a new job at a bank soon, one of the people I use to work with, works there now, and she was asked if she knew anyone they could hire, and she said she'd get me to apply! My current work is as an administrative assistant ($10/hr net) and it's usually OK, but I am looking for something better.

I went overseas (to Spain) and earned an English teaching certificate a couple of years ago so my plan is to use that again. With the exchange rate in Europe my hourly pay could be $20-25 an hour but the cost of living has been rising.

For those who wish to travel a lot around the world, or move to a specific foreign country, teaching is a good field.

PS - A little birdie told me that Spain has an awesome grower culture and cannabis is, for all intents and purposes, legal. :)
