The Phoenix Online - Philly tightens drug paraphernalia rules (http://phoenix.swarthmore.edu/2007-02-08/news/16818)
This fucking sucks for me personally living in Philly, and I think it might be spreading across America soon.
Let's try to fucking stop this thing!

it bothers me when i see a person so high they cant walk..eyes like crimson go in a con store and buy a philly...its to crack down on that haha...
although orange^ you make great points and i think...this is shit...mAn im torn
its like...when a kid buys a single cigar You Know what theyre gonna do its rare theyre going to smoke it with tobacco...i know plenty of older folks who blunt it up
this woman came into a dollar store cause she had to buy 3 vanilla phillys for her boyfriend...she was about 37-40..shes like what're these for...i go.... "..'dutches?'....you break em up and.....put the tobacco back in..:D "

I mean people are just gonna start buying pipes, therefore they don't have to go through the trouble of having to re-up on papers and cigar's going to the only place that sells them in the city. They will never stop cannabis use, why don't they just stop fighting it...it's not doing anything but harm. We need to do something about these stupid ass laws.

"I would say 70% of all homocides have to do with drugs"
how the hell does homocides and philly bunts, and bongs have to do with eachother? People who smoke blunts are just wanting to chillax and get faded... not murder people lol
i know people who smoke straight phillys also, just the ciggarillos. odd.

I support it it will cut down on the number of ppl stabbed to death with single blunts. It has to thats the only connection between pot and murder.
Hey slick you left the police get a life....quitter.
I'm surprised the tobacco industry has not sent a lawyer to challenge this law since it is a FREE MARKET COUNTRY and they are cutting into profits.

i thought the philly blunts themselves were going to stop production... i just smoked a philly tonight and it was alright... nothing next to a swisha
sorry people in philly better stock up on those blunts, or just buy packs of 5... whats the difference going to be people will just buy a whole pack and have more blunts to smoke... (and more people to kill LOL jk)

I don't get it. Who are they to put a company out of bizz. Do they plan on closing down smoke shops too, I would say theres about 12 shops in my general area. Thats alot of people losing jobs.

So basically you gotta buy 3 packs now instead of singles? I don't know about you but I usually get a case of Garcia Vega's or dutch masters and I'm good for a long while. And if you want to buy a bong in Boston don't call it a bong or you get banned from the store. Start calling them "water filtration devices"

why is bong such a dirty word. Man, I hate society. but ya call it by another name. Water pipe is good enough

The nonsense about older people not smoking flavored blunts is b.s. My fiance turns 39 today, and that man loooooves him a pineapple or peach blunt. But grape is his absolute favorite.;)

Hell yeah man that's what I was thinking. I was wondering if the companies were going to complain about the banning of their products. And Nik I'm the same. I do NOT understand people that go in and buy a single blunt lol. Every time I get blunts I always at least try to get a pack of 'em.

But there sure is a lot of them out there that does that, so now there might be less blunt buying because some people must really not believe in investing $5 (or $4 somethin in some cases) for a pack of blunts even though their buying singles would eventually add up to it lol. They just wanna get so close to banning everything just slowly until it's done. Next they'll be trying to ban them altogether..I hope people realize this law isn't going to change anything, positively or negatively.

I can safely say there is no1,,if anyone that smokes tobacco out of a Blunt. There is a reason they use the lowest quality tobacco you could possibly get in Philly's....Swishers....Whiteowl Blunts etc...because they know no1 uses them to smoke tobacco out of.
Now joints are a different thing, there are plenty of people that roll their own ciggs. Trying to say people use blunts and wraps to roll tobacco is just a stoner imagination trying to put a legal label on drug para.

This is just propoganda, every polotician knows that marijuana has nothing to do with homicides, Blunts are what they are, not what people use them for. What we do with a blunt is up to us, tabbacco companies dont sell them with weed. Same reason bowls and bongs are still around. There purpose is for tobacco, trust me the companies who sell this things, will be fighting the law, they have a business to run.

Bong = Water filtration device, if there going to be politically correct, they might as well be grammatically. U dont use slang when you try and get a point across. Yeah i think they also forget the fact that its 18 or 19 to buy tabacco products, im not an old fuck, i like my candy cigarettes and blunts fuck off. Old People? wtf who gives a shit about old people just cuase hes an old fuck doesnt mean every one that usses the product has to be. I love the camel flavor cigs, and fuck kids cant buy smokes, so what kinda markerting would that be, it there cities own fault if minors get there hands on the product, not the companies, talk about some bullshit, wheres this guy live?

This is a stupid law. I mean...I can understand if ur in the store with ur friends like "Yeah...I got the weed...you get the blunt...just a single philly" or something moronic like that. But there are people who like to ocassionally smoke cigars...like my stepdad...he smokes maybe 4 a year. So why would they ban selling single cigars. STUPID. This dude is obviously trying to win some good publicity with the conservative people who think weed is evil and ruins your life. Pathetic. This guy should go on tv and speak to Tucker Carlson

they should ban just phillies though, and blunt wraps while they at it

I Do. I don't smoke cigs, but I actually like smoking the occasional honey blunt just as it is. And I buy them one at a time too, because I rarely smoke them. But I do enjoy them as they are.
People like different things. Some people can't stand Budweiser. Others love the stuff.
But I'm sure people like me are the exception to the rule, so it's better to take away another small personal freedom to fight the "bigger problem" you know.
