Want to tell the parents...

But I am really not sure how. I am not a good student, never have been. I have an exceptionally high IQ, but that obviously doesn't matter in this world.

Anways, I really want to tell my parents I smoke weed. I had a big talk with my dad about why cigarettes are legal and weed isn't, and he was basically sticking up for weed the whole time... which I don't udnerstand, because he came in and smelled something, it actually wasn't weed though, it was incense, and he got really dissapointed in me, and told me how pot fucks with your head and shit, and i tried to feed him the facts, but he wouldn't accept them. Anyways, should I wait and try and smarten up in school before I talk to him? Maybe once he's like.. "proud" of me for doing alright, he could accept that I smoke weed. I'm just scared of him freaking out and being like "OMG! WEED! REHAB NOW!" You know?

How should I break it to him? When should I?
Should I even?

I'm surprised that someone with such an exceptionally high IQ can type up such a long run-on sentence. Haha, I'm just kidding. Anyway... remember that parents fuck with you like that. They change their minds constantly, and it's annoying as hell. I remember I had to deal with this too, dude. My Mom tells me that she supports the legalization of Cannabis, but when she found out I smoke (I told her, and I tell her any time she brings it up), she acts like even though she supports legalization of it that I shouldn't smoke it. It makes no sense to me. If you support legalization, then you'd be a bit hypocritical to get mad at someone for smoking it. Anyway, set up a situation to talk about it, or wait for him to bring it up to you. Do not let him catch you smoking, because he will get pissed, I bet. If you really want to break the ice, just leave some paraphernalia around, or something. I don't know... but personally I would just wait until you get into a convo with him about it that isn't involving you, and then tell him. Don't do it while you're stoned though, haha. One time I was really, really high after hotboxing with a gravity bong and pipe in my car with a friend. I came in and my Mom said to me, "Are you stoned?" I told her, "Uhh, yeah." She walked off with a sigh, and I tried to tell her that it's no big deal. Don't do that.

But yeah, that dude is right. Do better in school, and it will make it not seem bad to them. However, me saying that is hypocritical, because I've always done badly in school, even before I started smoking. He's right though, do that. Forget what I said.

just throw ur pipe in ur coat and tell ur mom to wash it..thats how my parents foubnd out lol..woke up saturday mornin to mom and dad yellin at me hangin onto my pipe...i miss that pipe..anyways they were standin there screamin at me sayin i had to be outta the house by the end of the night...lol left for a week and then came back..this happened 3 times til i finally moved out got my own place and smoke all the weed i want....
