my prefrence is marlboro 72's or camel wides.... but i smoke the cheapest shit on the market, aside from bugler or the like... they're called golden beaches, and they're only sold in texas and florida (says on the side of the pack "only for sale in texas and florida")

before the price hikes, they were 150 with tax, like 14-something with tax for a carton... now a pack is just over 3 dollars..

As for cigarettes, I make my own with tobacco that I order from a tobacco blending company in North Carolina Daughters & Ryan Tobacco (http://www.cigarettetobacco.com/) I smoke their "Wingate", which is a menthol blend.
As for cigars, my FAVORITE is Macanudo Hampton Court, which is a very smooth and flavorful smoke, and no, you don't inhale them. You just invite the smoke into your mouth, let it linger for a bit, and say a long goodbye as you blow it out. Yes, smoking a cigar this way, you do still get the nicotine. It is just absorbed into the bloodstream thru your mouth, lips and gums. It is a truely pleasurable diversion.

Was Winston Ultra Light 100's. Since Jan 1 when they went up $1.00 a pack I had to find an alternative. Drove across the border to Louisiana and bought a few different packs of cheap cigs at a discount store to see what else would work. Some tasted like leaves I would rake in my front yard. Nas-ty.

Yep....Winstons ran up to about $40 a carton.

We really have to do our part to get these fuckers making decisions like this out of office. I did what I could last election. And will again until things change.

Naw man here in VA a pack of camel wides is over 6 dollas. Let's not even talk about NY...

I don't smoke a whole lot of cigs but when I do I smoke Buggler rollies. 1 pack of that stuff is less than 2 bucks and it will last me well over a week if I'm on a tobacco binge. Plus you get the satisfaction of rollin yo own shit. They don't have the greatest taste, but still better than most if not all of the cheap brand cigarettes I've tried.

Yeah a few of my friends have started rolling their own. I was told that Texas was the only one affected by the tax thing...but I guess I'm wrong..I'm just glad I'm not a chainsmoker and only need one when I"m at work.

as far as i know, the entire us was effected by the new tax law.. some real bullshit too... i still remember when they raised cigarettes prices awhile back, when certain huge cigarette companies started getting the shit sued out of them... my grandma started letting me smoke right before that price hike went into effect... then years later, it happens again...

according the people who proposed the new tax, they were hoping it would lower the ammount of smokers... but the ones who would be detered by the price hike, obviously aren't the ones that need to be worried about... not only do alot of people still smoke, but now it's costing them even more money...
