Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here to posting but I've been browsing the forums for (probably months) like a year. I've finally decided to start my first grow, and I'm planning on taking it very seriously :D Anyway, I ordered my seeds from dope-seeds.com - and I decided to go with the Tiki Mix from tiki seed bank. Its a randomly selected mix of their strains and was extremely cheap (10 GBP)
I also ordered a 400W HPS light with reflector, bulb, ballast, and power cord for $109.00. From the shopping I've done it seems like I got a really good deal on that.
I planted 11 seeds in peat pots using Seed Starter soil about 4 days ago.. and as of today I have 3 sprouts ;)
This is all being done in my closet - it measures 4' x 3' x 8'.
And now it is time for my first question.
I currently have my light hung 24" from the top of the peat pots.. is this too much for the seedlings? I'm hoping to use this HPS for the entire grow. I dont have a cooling system yet on the light.. not sure if I am going to be able to afford that.. hopefully in the future.
Any advice is much appreciated.. Pictures later when it gets a little more interesting
