I dont know the first thing about differant strains and how to tell differant bud apart from each other. Lately I have been smoking Orange Kush, which is what my brother who is extremly knowlegable about this stuff told me. This new stuff I got was supposedly called "Fruitopia" by a lot of people, or they called it Haze. Now I am a skeptic by nature so I have a hard time just downright believing these people. Im going to try to post a pic of what is looks like so this community can help me disect my mystery. Its very fuzzy and leavy. There are tiny light orange hairs coming out of it and the color is about 60% light green and 40% dark green. It is very soft and the smell is much more potent than anything I have smelled before. Is there a site that can help me identify what it is? Thanks (I would ask my brother but hes away and I dont have any means of communicating with him)

Allright first off youll never probaly know the strain your smokin. Unless you know the grower directly. Theres so many types and so many ways to grow they all end up lookin almost the same, or mix it together somthin like that. Yea there are distinct features of exotic brands but its as said, way too hard to do.
I say, fuck the strain name. If its good smoke that shit!
Dealers put names on shit to up the anty

even the same strain can come out looking completely differrent...depends on the growing environment...outdoor will of course be very differnt from indoor and soil will be extremely different from hydro etc...

Yeah you can tell the general species, but not down to the exact strain.. Typically you can tell indica versus sativa and thats about the gist of it.
