Aleda transparent rolling paper

Has anyone used this new clear rolling paper? I have and I think they are the futuristic form of geting high!! Any thoughts?

personally, i don't see anything good about them.. they're clear *woo*..

i've heard they're difficult to roll with as well.... even less of a reason to buy them...

from others i've heard it's like smoking out of plastic (almost), not sure if they add any taste...

they're made of cellulose which is plant matter... and they're (supposed to be) 100% natural and safe... but i'll just stick with my orange zig zags.

Ive only used twice. Both times had no problem what so ever. Ok rollin it was a little tougher but I have my bad days. But it smoked smoooootthhh

I just bought a back of papers a couple days ago they aint Aleda papers they r called glass paper same idea and they work excellent

They do smoke a bit smoother...but the negatives outweigh the positives for me. I'll stick with my papers too. :cool:

Positives:

Clear (WOW!...ok that was fun...now what?)
Cellulose = healthier (somewhat)
A bit of a smoother smoke (not much, tho...and not very noticable if you have an iron lung like me) ;)

Negatives:

Not as easy to roll with
Novelty item = more expensive
Not as easy to obtain
Don't look as cool as you think when they burn (I like white papers better)

Please show us some of those fancy joints you roll with them. I still have almost a whole pack of them left. I was actually thinking last night (as I was working on my next video for here) that I should try a larger, 'fancy' joint with those papers. I'd like to see someone do it. hmm no can do un fortunately i have no pictures and no weed. i have built one to be liek three joints coming together and becoming one, also a friend has sugested layering different coulours into paterns, spiral for example, if anyone can do that i will be mighty impressed!

My girlfriend bought a pack and I haven't had any trouble with them. The only problem I had was last weekend I brought a joint to a party I went to and towards the end, it ended up coming apart at the bottom, but who knows what the retards at the party were doing to it, probably squeezing the shit out of it.

Anyways, the ones I have are half the size of regular papers, and I use a rolling machine so its just as easy for me to roll as regular papers. I like them mostly because there is no taste or smell, so you only taste the herb. They are also pretty easy to find around here, and I live in Iowa.

i cant stand them. once they go out, theyre fucking impossible to light again. and i found that they go out every few hits.

I think they look pretty bad ass. The people who I smoke with/know I smoke thought they were bad ass. I use them as bartering chips to get free weed from my one friend.

For the ease of rolling, I never have to roll (never have either...long live bongs!). My friend that rolls them didn't have any trouble, I sat there and watched her one day. They look pretty neat. They burn well. They do have some resin build up after smoking for a while.

MAJOR problem with them - We were sitting in my friends truck with a half of a clear joint we had smoked a little earlier. We lit it and when she passed it to me, it went out. I relit it and it CAUGHT ON FIRE! I was high, so I just starred at it and said, "Dude?!!? There's fire!" It made a big, giant flame! That freaked me out a little bit. I probably won't smoke them again. It left a weird taste (that same joint) before it too.

I got some.. aLedinha is the brand. Nothing special. Seems like they tend to run quite a bit, but they do burn slower than zig zag's. $4 a pack! Not really worth it in my opinion.

Iv used them infact just smoked a J using them. Taste better than papers do. The only bad thing is, is that they resin up like a motherfucker at the end.
