I had a pet scorpion and she died a few days ago :(
So now I am left with a dead scorpion body.. (she was my little baby :( )
So, what do you say I mummify the body?

I heard that if you put a tiny drop of alcohol on a scorpion that it will go crazy and sting itself to death.

Actually scorpions stingers cannot sting themeselves, they just can't reach far enough. But even if the could, scorpions are immune to there own venom.

I removed all of the insides that I could, now the body is covered in salt.

Of course I know what mumifiying is, it's preserving a dead body. I just threw the scorpion out the window... it was getting too messy and I was starting to feel bad about it.. like disrespectfull to the dead or something... and she was my baby scorpion.. I loved her.

So... I'm curious... Aside from the occasional love tap with her stinger or maybe crawling around your bed in circles, what affection did this thing possibly give?
Besides from being alive, and being afraid, what could it possibly do to show that it actually liked you or noticed your affection?

Oh, I'm sure the scorpion didn't love me back, but I loved her. I loved to watch her eat crickets, and scurry around in her cage. She was such a nice little scorpion... I remember when I got her... My mom was so pissed at me for buying a pet scorpion, lol.

Yes but that doesn't mean anything...it's more symbolic ya know? Like Khafra statues..it is a statue so that after the person dies..their spirit has a place...
