Curing Question

Lets say i have had dry bud for 4 weeks now. is there a possibility by curing it, the bud will have a good potency?

I dont believe curing affects the potency to much. I have never noticed anything but improved flavor. Drying is a must curing is optional....i just dry then leave in glass jars with silica gel in them

silica gel eh? I have some silica kitty litter for a scrubber I made and I wondered if it could be used to help dry buds, even help prevent mold maybe. do you just make little pouches of the stuff in paper towel or coffee filters or something and throw it in? or get the small pouches they use in clothes and shoes?
