well, that was the topic. Not if your friend has a misfits tattoo. No offence, but I mainly just wanted to know what people thought of the song.

Too........Staind sounding.
I seriously hope those influences are a joke.

some of them are, some of them aren't. Dustin and Jeffs influences are correct. Joels aren't.

lol.
I sure don't like it, but some people like that style. Sorry, but I'm brutually honest when it comes to music. It's poppy, not in a good way, but in a FM radio way.

I agree with thcbongman, and I'm the drummer. That's not my style of music at all, I'm simply the drummer. The recording makes it sound terrible for several reasons. Systemofadown (the bassist and singer) forgot to bring his bass. So he played the bass part on the guitar. The song was also recorded played in drop D. Normally it's in Drop C, but due to being without a bass, it sounded best in drop d tuning.
2. You can hear it's a little out of tune in the beginning.
3. It's our most "soft" song, but it sounds much better played in the correct tuning and with a bass. Also, many people dislike our bassists voice, but we're looking for a new singer, until then, he'll continue to sing.
It's unfortunate that currently that's our only song, so that's what people think we sound like... We'll be recording again in the near future, so then people can actually get an idea of how we sound.

QFT... That is our "poppiest" song. It's not all like that.

Oops. It's not our only song. We have lots of songs, I meant it's our only song on myspace.

I would love to hear your other works when they're ready. From a technical aspect, other than a few miscues, you guys sounded solid. It's just the style that I didn't like, but with all bands, time will make you more cohesive, and creative.

It'll save you a bunch of money. What you guys currently doing now, going to a studio or something?
