Can somebody explain Sativa and Indica

They are two different types of weed. Sativa gives you an uplifting, head-high. Indica gives you a mongy couchlock feeling. Most strains are a hybrid of the two. Sativa-indica strains have more sativa than indica, and Indica-sativa strains have more indica than sativa.

yes remember, types, not strains.... they're close but not that close ;) and I think that indica gives you more of a head high than anything, resulting in couchlock, sativa is more body high, here is a little excerpt from wikipedia

Sativa gives the cerebral "head" high, which is more up, and Indica gives a "Body" stone, which can make you sleepy. Hash is usually made from Indica strains.

:stoned: It's all good because like fine wine, you can determine what you choose to enjoy...I agree that a lot of the bud I use is hybrid...usually heavier on the indica side though.
:cool: Indica is great for pain, stress & tension...however, it may take more effort to do coordinated stuff.
Sativa is the head high, no question there, this stuff tends to give a more energetic creative type of effect, I find it easier to be social on this strain.:greenthumb:
