I havent read the pros yet but the last con, also the most recent (check the dates) is enough for me to be investing in a vaporizer as soon as i get home in arpil.

Does the regular smoking of marijuana cause lung cancer or in any way permanently injure the lungs? (http://www.medicalmarijuanaprocon.org/bin/procon/procon.cgi?database=5-C-Subs-1.db&command=viewone&op=t&id=20&rnd=862.857765109935)

Nice find! It's about time someone found some objective information about the subject.

Also, NORML rocks for these kind of things.

It's a possibly to get a form of cancer not smoking anything at all.

Smoke people that smoke cigarettes all there lives never get lung cancer. Some people who never smoked anything in their lives get lung cancer. What causes cancer is a complex subject in itself. Smoking a little weed isn't going to be the major reason that you get lung cancer.....

Any burning of plant material is going to increase your risk of cancer. There hasn't been any link between cannabis and lung cancer, and some studies suggest no link between emphysema.

My point is, cannabis is though to have anti-cancer properties, so possibly the cancer cannabis could be causing is cancelled out by the possibility of the anti-cancer effect?

In that case...

EAT YOUR CANNABIS!

I think the main reason WHY there is no research is because unfortunately Cannabis is a schedule 1 controlled substance in the US. You're breaking the lie when you inhale THC. So who is gonna be the real guinea pig? Med. Cannabis user? You mean people that already have cancer?

That's what I never got...

I attribute my heart disease to cigarettes... when i was a 4 pack a day smoker I never coughed up a loogy,,, now smoking just pot I do so I believe there is a great difference in the tar...

I ride with tbong,,,cancer is still a mystery,,,I think things like chemicals cause it but,,,I also think it is an individual thing,,,what may give it to you may not give it to me... I really beleive what we eat greatly affects our ability to fight cancer too...

I whole heartilly believe marijuana in itself is not harmful... My uncle 35 years ago developed cancer,,,back then he smoked pot to relieve chemo,,,he's 80 and cancer free today...

You're a funny one. But don't let that attitude catch up with you one day.

As for me, i know for a fact that i would be over this damn plague i seem to have a day or two ago. But i just cant stop smoking, it makes the cold go away for a little while. But then it just comes back; at least it doesn't usually come back worse than before i smoked.

Also i went snowboarding yesterday and that kicked my ass, so i cant tell what ache is from what!

Does this smiley remind anyone else of Pulp Fiction :S1:
