hey WVLZ ,
it's gonna be trial and error man . you'll find it's happy spot though . the setting will chg. slightly depending on the weed you put in it , density , and moisture content .
peace

about 3 months and start out at 350f first round then 370 the second round after mashing up herb after the first round and then 390f for the 3 round if any is left after remembering to mash up disk again. i leave the fan speed on the lowest setting any higher and it will burn your herb..and you don't want that. let the fan do the work and don't pull to hard if your doing the direct hit.

Vaporizers.ca says:
"We recommend a maximum temperature setting of 176C for the Vapor Matic. At a temp setting of 176C, actual temperature will fluctuate between 170C and 200C."

I vape at 185c
I'm going to have to try lower now. I read contradicting reports that THC vaporizes at 175 and 180c. I have a digital unit and it tells me the ACTUAL temperature and the thermostat setting. When I pull, I try to pull as lightly as possible to keep the temp up. I also take in about a 50% vapor 50% fresh air mix to really make it comfortable. It also lets you take big hits that don't actually drop the temperature so much.
