weird al does in fact write his own lyrics and he has a real band who makes music and he plays musical instruments as well. he uses other peoples songs not their words at and if you do your homework that is how rap was done to begin with.

your opinion of what an artist is seems pretty narrow. i don't see anyone else doing as many hilarious parody's as him. and at least he's got a good sense of humor.

i watched the whole thing and if you actually pay attention you can pick out some really funny jokes. like when he's repeating that part where eminem keeps sayin "know what i mean?" every time eminem says it he is in a different position, meaning he actually said it that many times in a 'different' context.
