Living in a city consumed by those who "be hittin dat purple haze in da bluntz" I can't seem to trust alot of people selling. I even hear people asking to buy 45 bags instead of saying like quarters. I also think alot of people just take a random amount of weed and put it in a bag and say its an OZ. Idk I might just be paranoid, but I dont like to get ripped off. Does anyone else feel this way?

yes, where i live we go by "sacks" instead of 1/4, 1/2 and oz. no one here knows what kief, bars, shake, or green dragon is, I get so annoyed that people consider themselves "dealers" when they dont even know the basic terms

If you feel that way i think you might be dealing with the wrong people. I only deal with people that got thier shit down, if i have a feeling they dont i dont fuck wit them.

Yup, my friend text me a few day's ago saying he found a great connection though. I think I will meet his guy sometime this week when I start to run low. I'm currently buying from a friend from HS who's quality varies drastically. It is always weighed out properly though.

No one knows what sativa, indica, kief, strains, they don't even know that dro is a way of growing. I think I found one person that sells that knows what a strain is.
Also, there is absolutely no way I can get as good of connects as you guys have around here. I've been through dozens of people, and they all fit the above criteria.

My guys are solid. Good weed, weights are perfect, and they ALWAYS cut me deals(massive deals). I let my friends use them sometimes, but they don't get any deals. And when the friends are around my guy acts like he isnt giving me a deal, just so it can stay between he and I.

we have "2" of both... when i put the qoute around the 2.... i mean... there are only like 2 or 3 people that one of them trusts... and the other dealer is sold out within a week of having anything... but one of them rarely has chornic... and he never knows the actual weights of the bag,
and just tosses some weed in the bag... you tell him weather or not its fair...(and he will play triks with you... like hell have the people can go over there, go and find, people who have monney, and need a dealer, bring the kid skimped sacks... and then when he has the bags down as low as possible...hell have a more trusted guy, bring him to meet the actual dealer...so that when the dealer hands you a .5 gram you pay 25 or 30 dollars for it... and when he asks you weather or not its fair... and you say yes... because its 2 times as much as the middle man was giving him... some of his more trusted employes/clients, dont even get full sacks...
and then the other one, knows what hes doing... but hes 15 miles... there... and 15 back... and we either dont have a car... or gas if we do have a car... and he only sells to a hand full of people... my girl is one of the lucky ones...(im thinking its a ass boobs pussy sort of thing.....) so... it preaty much sucks... im thinking about going buying a ounce... and a scale... and putting 0.8 grams in as many zip blocks as i can... and putting the extra .2 in another zip block for for my personals... and then selling "grams" for 20... and when some one needs an 8th... putting 3 "grams" in one sack, for a 8th... and selling that for 45 ... not very honest... but i the kind of guy who cant even wipe his ass with single ply toilet paper because hes so fucking broke..

buy a scale if you wanna be "balls on accurate"
you can usually tell an 1/8, 1/4 or a half by eyeballing it.
Are your dealers members of cann.com? If they arent they probably don't know all the info you know. It is up to you to spread the word.:)

You have more important things to consider than the quality of your dealers if your city is being consumed. Like running.

I try to tell them shit, but they are like"what the fuck, this is useless information. just smoke and get high, most of those people don't know wtf they are talking about anyway."

One of my guys kinda doesn't know what he's doing. He's very undependable when it comes to supply and the quality often varies. He also fronts a lot so some of his customers owe him $2000+...
yeah, theres lots of dumbasses like that around here too....'hey can i have a $37.85 bag?'
.....uh.........sure *gives them a nug and a half* "there you go man, that shit came from AMSTERDAM!!"
theyre dumb as hell. they dont realize by saying how much money your willing to spend how many people would just take advantage of that and raise the price of their buds for you. lol.
they get ripped off all the time and its funny. i tried to tell them, but the stupid bitch always thinks she knows everything.
serves em right.

yes, I always beat you to the post anyways,
but by "sacks", usually by grams, like a 20 sack would be 2 grams, a 40 sack would be 4 grams, and usually a rip off

Some dealers can just... suck.
Fortunately for me, I've never had problems with dealers except for the possible, un-noticed chinse in my dimebag. Buy a scale in my opinion. They're 30 bucks for a descent, long-lasting one. My 30 dollar one goes up to 150 grams to 0.1. That's a pretty good one-time fee for something that's going to save you a LOT in the long run.
if you say sacs the person is most commonly referring to the actual names for the bags...nickel, dime, quarter, half....not by grams...
nick = 1g = $5
dime = 2g = $10
eighth = 3.5g = $15-20
quarter = 7g = $30-40
etc, etc...
you can sell by bags (that way..and obviously measure them out by grams) or sell it *by* the gram. 1g = 10$, 2g = 20$ mids prices unless its just taxed regs.

The HS dealers that buy 1/4s and 1/2s to slang, will put around .7 in a bag and sell those for $10.
You can get 2 bags for $15.
3 for $20 from some people.
Or you can just find a dealer that isn't in high school and just hands you one bag with whatever grams you are trying to get.

What kind of magic trick is it where a gram will cost you $10, but if you call it a dime bag you get two grams, and its still only $10?
Still, I wish I could get your price on an eighth. But then again, my bud is non-fictional, so that probably ups the cost a bit...

Where I am there is "dub" in between dime and eighth, and that is 2g (sometimes the're real jerk-offs and give you 1.5g) a dime is 1g and a nick is a joke. No one really buys less than an eighth and standard price on some skunk would be from $55-$75. It's really lame, thats why it's better to make friends in the habit and work together to get the deals. I now get the best buds for almost half as much. I love to tease my smoking buddies.

I finally found a connect after moving from Los Angeles to the Windy City. I met this guy in school he sells and he seemed cool enough to me. I was low on money and I asked if he would mind selling me a "dub." It took some time to explain to him that a dub was over a gram. This was a common weight in LA to buy, especially when buying expensive kush. Sometimes you couldn't afford an entire eighth.
Anyhow, all was well until we met up. He hands me skimpy sack and tells me throws me a silly pitch about how its from California and its "organic and shit." I was like great...play on the fact that I am from California but don't tell me that its organic. It had better be organic. Most weed is.
Earlier I tried having a conversation with him about the different strains and cannabis clubs out in California. It was a one sided conversation. He didn't seem to know that there where different strains.
I should stop buying from this dude. I fear he doesn't know jack about weed. I expect my dealers to know a thing or two.

There is an easy solution to this problem: Buy a scale.
Simple yet effective. :)

I am in HS and deal with lots of dumbasses. I had one kid come up and offer me hydro for $70 an 1/8 and beasters for $55, I asked the strain for the hydro and i was told Hydro was the strain. I know some kid that also said "I got some purple beasters I will sell them to you for $50, he had no clue why they were purple.
I finally found a good dealer he is a senior. His prices are great its just that the quality varies from month to month. I have had him get me Mids for as low as $15 and they were what most kids pay $30 for. He can get me beasters for $40 and these will knock you on your ass.
no one knows the strain names around here. i dont blame them if you dont grow it why would you know they are in it for money not learning jesussssssssssssssss

Get a basic digi scale. I bought one for $40 and it's smaller than a pack of smokes. I just use a plastic container to put on the scale, set it back to zero, and weigh my herbs in it. It goes up to 500g's and as little as 0.02g's.
It's a great investment as well.
There is only one sure way to know what you're getting, and that is to weigh it. Guessing the weights of your bags is like trying to guess someones body weight. It's not accurate and looks can be deceiving.
Who needs your friend. Buy one yourself. :)

the best dealer is the guy who actually grew the weed, and sold it to you! My contact now gets it from her Dad who grows and sells the stuff :) I hate getting weed and then askin what strain it is, and they just say "i'd know, but its chronic shit!" If your going to sell the product know the freakin product!!! over the past few years about 50% of my contacts actually knew about weed (a lot about weed), I love it when I get a dealer that talks about the product(and sometimes teaches me somethin new about marry jane) as he's dealing to you (in a private area of course) I hate grap and go deals, I like to know my dealer, or contact, the term dealer is an awfull term. reserved for the grap and go dealers; who know nothin about weed, and only do it for the money!
Edit:Oh and also if grab and go dealers learned more about the weed, i gaurentee they would get more return customers :)

Yeah man selling is all about crunching numbers. Once you get a scale it becomes a science.
The dealers i know are really really stony n know their strands, and so far ive had no bad experience.

yea, thats really stupid, around here we ask for a five (.5) or a dime (1.0). Then, if you wanna get ''bulk'' deals, you ask for a 2-grams-for-15-bucks sack, or a 3-grams-for-20 sack..(its pretty fast sayin it in french lolz)
Its different when you wanna buy quarters, halves and ounces though.

Ever get the feeling that "The fat kid" bitches WAY too much about his connections, and should be happy he can get ANYTHING to smoke at all?
Waaahhh, my dealers don't know what indica is, waaaahh....
Dude stop complaining because one day you will find yourself with no way to get any weed at all, and then you'll really have something to bitch about.

I agree, some of his complaints are superficial, that dealers have to be "knowledgeable." Unless were talking about dealing with some weed connoisseur who's has 3 strains on hand he grows by himself marked and catalog, his complaints are invalid. 95% of dealers simply push a product. That's it. It's up to you to have a scale, and sense to judgement to buy something acceptable to your standards.

zing! haha
On a side note though, I think all the dropping of strain names is complete bull shit. I've seen amazing white widow, and I've seen shitty quality white widow. Having an impressively named strain won't do shit for you if the person growing it didn't know what they were doing. All you get is expensive and pretentious dirt weed.
Better to have a dealer who can look for good crystals or red hairs and know that he's getting some kind bud rather than one who's a sucker for titles.
Everybody seems to think strain is really important. But its not for the majority of users. If you're buying at the clubs, or growing yourself, by all means educate yourself. But if you want strain names while buying on the street... get over yourself already.

Exactly.
I am so thankful everyday to know that I have a quality hookup where I know every single little detail about the bud I'm smoking.
