Dad smokes weed?

I kind of wonder if my dad smokes weed sometimes. I haven't told him that i do but im pretty sure he found a pipe that i made one time and i think he has to know. He has an office that is right around the corners from a headshop and one time when i was there when i was younger i found a pack of zig-zags in his office. also he burns incense quite a bit in there. He is 55 so i was wondering if there was anyone around that age here that might provide some insight.

He's proably tokin with the lobsters! ;) hmmmm ways to find out? sounds like he is but I'd find more proof, I knew my dad smoked pot, cause of He'd go for a "nap" and then come back with super red eyes, and a couple of times he'd come home with a brown paper bag, and when we asked him (my sister and me) what was in it, he'd act all sketchy and fumble with his words, and say it was cleaning supplies lol, oh and once we found his stash lol

also today we were at the mall looking for shoes (i looked in every store but they didnt have Hemp Ipaths anywhere :( ). we were hungry so we went to go get food at the food court. we went to hot dog on a stick and i asked for some money so i could get some bomb lemonade. he put his hand in his pocket and when he pulled it out a roach came flying out and landed on the floor. we both looked at it and he quickly put his foot over it and i just started laughing and then he did too

it was a very fatherly son bonding moment

I have always believed that there shouldnt be any secrets between parents and kids because when it comes down to it they are the only ones who will be there for you without question.Im 38, have three kids 18, 15, and 9. They all know i smoke but i dont do it in front of them. My 9 year old daughter will say "man daddy you stink after i smoked one but thats about it. They know when i go on the porch its THC cocktail time...sucks having to go on the porch in this 20 below shit. Parents always say "lead by example". Like i tell my kids "dont try to be like me, be better than me.

I am 39 my 11 year old is very nosy. He dont know i smoke but he is trying to find out what dad in the puter room with the door locked.
the problem i have is his birth mom pumps him for info when he is at her house. Not to mention the fucking DARE program he is attending at school.
He has ADHD so when he is older i will introduce him to my good friend MJ maybe in a pb&j SANDWITCH.

I know my dad doesn't now, but I seriously think he used to.

One, he was a musician in the early 70's. The kind that played music in the parks. That alone is reason enough.

Second, my mom told me of when he tried acid once. Most people don't go from doing nothing to trying LSD.

Third, I've talked to him about drug-related things and he knows A LOT about it, and he had "On The Road" by Jack Kerouc in his office... it's so obvious.

I have suspicion of my mom but I am afraid she will kill me at the same time. She said something about how tobacco should be illegal because somestuff is not as bad is. Also she will randomly eat alot, has mood swings and can't keep a sentence striaght without trailling off. She blames her thyroid but I am not too sure.

My dad and I never really got along to well untill he found out I smoked. now we get along great and its cool knowing that he doesnt mind and I can share something like this with him

When I was younger, about elementary years, I would always notice my dads friends always commeing around at odd hrs or the night. and always going to the barn (where i have spotted his growing lights and what-not) or the basement to "talk." I am now 19, and for my 16th birthday my dad took me out and had me help him build a bonfire in the back yard and he handed me a joint and said spark it up. I will never for get that night, I now smoke with my dad almost every single day, we each buy weed, and its always where we both know where its at in the basement. I never had a good relationship with my dad untill we started smokeing togeather, its like now we can actually talk with eachother and help eachother out, its great, he's more like my best friend now more than my dad. I suggest that if you think you dad is cool with you smokeing, and your not like 13-14 or something, let him know, it may be the beggining of something great.

yeah my uncles smoke and they told me my dad used to smoke and even though hes dead knowing youre dad used to smoke or still does is kinda the shit. It kinda sucks that i didnt get to smoke with him though.

For all those who have developed a new relationship with parents I think its great, I have been there. My brother smoked bud all day and night but we never smoked together. A few years back I stop by to see my brother and we ended up smoking one together after about 5 years of him not knowing i smoked at all. It was great because all my life my brother was like my dad to me as I didnt have a dad. I felt like I had missed out on so much not being closer to him. If only we could have shared this experience earlier in life maybe things would have been different. We connected like real brothers but i still respected him as my dad, and it became one of the best relationships I ever had with a family member and it pulled us closer together big time. We began talking about anything and everything we should have earlier in life. We shared so much that night I couldnt replace that night if i wanted to..best thing that happened to us as brothers(father figure or dad) I say. Just keep it real with ya parents and they will keep it real with you. Sure you may hear shit from them when you talk to them but they should at least appreciate your being honest and real with them. My other thoughts on this are if your parents are smokin and you know it, try to share that experience with them..you never know where it will go from there. You may be on the verge of a new and better relationship with them and i would hope they would respect you for the honesty and the interest in their lives. If not, and they start bitchin just tell them "Hey i just wanted to be honest with you mom and dad.

My father and I never really got along. I always knew he smoked and I had said I never would... well long story short a few years ago I started smoking..Now I can honestly say hes one of my best friends. its pretty cool...
