I cant hear it when it's on, but i can hear the noise it makes as it turns on,. I think it may be something to do with the static.

but that fuckin high pitched sound... it drives me NUTS! and i found out today, not even deafening music can drown it out (it only happens when the tv is on input (blue screen))

it gives me a headache actually after awhile....

OMFG me too, and the tv we got long time ago makes that noise, but somehow like 3 TIMES LOUDER! I hate this thing...And I can hear it soooo good, pisses me off
