WTF

he was soooo done..we all thought it....we all knew it..it was elluded to, implied, even speculated by his teammates and coaches..but no...we were all wrong...very wrong...every bad play, every bad pass, was all dismissed with this notion... ::sigh:: just call him marino.....

i know no specifics as of yet, just the headline across my msnbc banner that favre announces to paper he is not retiring....i will be back with the details...

can you BELIEVE this?

i couldnt believe it....he is hurting the team at this point..sometimes people dont know when enough is enough i guess..plagued by injuries, and almost 40...i think he should have left while he still had a reputation...if he brings it bad this coming season, all they will remember at first is going to be that he stayed....

It's all about the record books (http://www.packers.com/history/record_book/individual_records/favre_watch/). Favre is out for a few more of Marino's records and one more year should do the trick.

Have a good one!

Fuck all you Favre haters...if you call 3885 passing yards and 18 TD's hurting the team, you're dumb...mind you he did this with an offensive line with 3 out of the 5 being Rookies, essentially no running game with an over the hill Running Back that cannot produce enough consistent play to open up any sort of passing game, No respectable tight end threat, and Donald Driver as a #1 Receiver...To say Favre is hurting the Packers is ridiculous. Granted He's lost a step or two and is by no means the Favre of old, Favre can still play in the league at a competive level. He's still a top 10 QB in the NFL, and is going to go down as one of the greatest...Shit if he started poppin Vics again he'd be a top 5 QB lol j/k...To be honest though i wouldn't be suprised if Favre played another 2-3 seasons.

I am not touchy about the truth...i just back up my opinion with facts...you've proved shit to me or anyone else...it's nothing personal but you put up a very weak argument other than the fact that you are just sick of Brett Favre...weak argument if you ask me.

I am relaxed...tis why i said "nothing personal"....but yeah us packer fans are die-hard, so when we see people bashin our hero sayin he's some wash-up (yeah i know you didn't say it directly, but it's what you implied) we get disgruntled...since Dallas and GB both had disappointing seasons we can both share a smoke to next season...What can i say i love sports banter.:rasta:

ha...disappointing doesnt BEGIN to cover the season...when romo fuk'd that snap, i for real had tears in my eyes...i think the next season is gonna be real good..lots of good players coming out of college, new coaches, etc...has potential....lets keep our fingers crossed...

(i still say if favre can play, marino should come back!! ;) )
