So I started these a month or so ago.... They are from bag seeds... they are in fox farms organic soil... only gave them bottled water for the first month and then noticed slow growth and some yellowing of leaves so i've been feeding with fox farms liquid big grow ferts 6-4-4 once a week... i don't overwater... i water twice a week or so...
are they suffering from underwater?
They are under 4 CFLs.... I have 3 babies...

if you are using bottled water, you need to supplement with CalMag+, of you will see deficiencies soon.

Maybe 1/2 cup or so... there are holes at the bottom of these pots for drainage... Do I need to give them more water? I really don't want to overwater?
and do I still need CalMag+ if I feed it with liquid 6-4-4 once a week? is that to much?

good rule of thumb is.....
pick up your pots when they are dry, they should almost feel empty and wieghtless, now water them, they should be quite heavy, now everyday pick them up until they are light again, now you can water, and when you water just pour ir in until its comes gushing out the bottom.
with bottle water you need as said above cal-mag or cal-mag plus.

you need to supplement the calcium and magnesium that the botteling or RO process takes out. Otherwise you will run into issues soon.

okay... so you think its a MG or CA defficiency?
where do i get calmg? hydro store?
just follow the instructions on the bottle?
also.... is it okay to veg under an HPS? i just bought one and was wondering if i should just throw them under it instead of the CFLs...
thanks guys

yup just go to any hydro store as its a very common item for them to carry, follow the bottles direction and it has zero influence on your PH

yup you can put em straight under the HPS, but be mindfull of heat stress, plants that size the bul should beabout 2 foot away untill they get a bit bigger. ( keep an eye on how warm the tops of your plants are getting.
you can keep the cfls on also to give a bit more localised light if you want.

You can veg under HPS and many people use them start to finish. Instead of or in addition to your CFLs an HPS will be great.
