pruning flowers??

hey, im in week 2 of flowering and was just curious that by pruning young flowers will they come back to be bigger and more potent??

ne hints would be a big help

no they wont come back and be more potent if anything it wont grow back, cause stress to the plant, decrease potency...boi jus be patient like every other grower on these boards...

I have made that mistake of pruning my flowers to dry in my microwave only to wind up with the stem sticking up. This time I'm going to let my buds get fat, dry naturally and cure them

you wanna prune the lower growth.that is to say all the small spindly branches at the bottom of the plant that hardly receive any light and wont really give you much of anything...trim all that crap off and let the high branches that are receiving proper light(assumeing your using proper light) grow to their fullest potential.there's usually about 4-6 of these tiny little things at the bottom.depending on how you vegged them though and for how long.also species plays into the game here and if you have a purer indica then it's as i said.if it's leaning more on sativa side then sometimes these little branches will be more up in the plants.but just try what i said to be safe and you should be right mate.

I've found that certain strains DO NOT like you pruning the bottom leafidge and some that love it i.e northen lights, ww, mainly indica strains didnt have a problem with pruning while flowering...durban posion (dutch passion) hated it an certainly showed its distaste by giving me a fairly poor harvest..

I dont cut bottom branches, at week 2 u should just have pistil balls. After a while when it starts to look like real bud there is a pruning method where u cut off all of the pistils liaving just calyxs and bud, supposedly this produces larger bud because pistils keep on regrowing and new calyxs form, but it aint verrifieid.

Wow, that sounds very interesting guys. I do have NL under 400w hps with several pistil balls around the bottom. She's been flowering for one month and I am going to try to let her flower through December.
