View Full Version : Newbie, have bagseed, about 15. Wheres a good growroom?

Im completely new to growing and I wanted to know if anyone knew of an easy place/setup to grow bagseed. Im not looking to grow ultra quality stuff, just stuff for me and my friends on the weekend to relax and have a little fun. Nothing major. Im trying to spend as little as possible, but if I have to I'll pay more to get a good working setup then just grow.

If you own your home a good place is the far corner of your basement/crawlspace. Clean it up and hang some sort of wall to make a small room. Pile some junk in front and around to make it look like a messy storage area.

A small 3 by 3 ft area w/ a 400W HPS is big enough to give a lot of personal smoke.

If you don't own your own home then outdoors is your safest bet. Growing indoors in a rental requires extra security, odour and noise control, and a contingency plan in case the landlord needs to come in on short notice. In this case locate the grow area away from appliances and fixtures that may need repair or service.

Growing Marijuana With Fluorescent Light Bulbs, Growing cannabis under TL light (http://weedfarmer.com/growing_marijuana_with_fluoresce.htm)
It worked for him, and looks like it produced a small amount of bud. CFL lamps are better for this these days. Use some of those 42 watt CFL bulbs that Walmart sells. For a beginner, you can use a total CFL setup and get a modest harvest.

I would say a large crawl space is #1 for stealth growing if you have one
