Yesterday there was a fight, and some kid tried to steal the cops gun to shoot either him or the kid he was fighting. He failed, blah blah, arrested, lots of cops at the school, I thought it would be over the next day. Well apparently not.

Today there were 14 cop cars, probably more than 14 cops, drug dogs, the super intendant, metal detectors in the cafe doors, drug dogs, and the hallways were closed down for the day except for passing to class. This is going to be going on for atleast another month, and I'm guessing for the rest of the year.

Even though it was a serious matter on that day, the police have gone overboard. Anyone else agree?

I wouldn't expect it to stay like that for long. You may have a couple cops on campus for a little while, or permanant security guards, but I doubt they will spend that much money for a long time. They will sweep the school, raid lockers and make a few more arrests probably and than leave in a week.

Three Wilby High School students were arrested Wednesday, two of them for assaulting a police officer.

He didn't try to take the gun, they just punched the officer in the head. Sucks too, because he is the only good cop in the damn city.

I'm guessing the main reason is that after this incident, some kids can become distressed over an episode like this. Some kids could come back the next day with a gun or weapon and do the unthinkable and blast up some students, or do something that can harm themselves or each other.

There is no such thing as being over cautious when it comes to things like this. What if they had done nothing, and a student came in a blasted some people down, then people will be complaining they didn't do enough.

Better to be safe then sorry. It's better to be over cautious than not do anything at all.

And kids are so dumb these days. Yeah, high school kids think they can take out an army of officers...duh! In jail and charged is what they deserve. They didn't really think they could away with doing that, did they?

That isn't suprising at all! Obviously things are out of hand with the STUDENTS at your school! The police are there to show that sort of thing will NOT be tolerated... now, imagine if after the arrest, some of that kid's friends decide not to let the matter rest... bring weapons of their own... retaliate... you suddenly have a situation that puts OTHERS at risk... if that kid was willing to shoot someone, what about his buddies?

I always enjoyed shitting at school. For one, I'd take like 20 minutes to go, on purpose, and that's 20 minutes less of boring classroom talk. Another reason is all the graffiti. i do remember though going down to the locker room in the gym to take a shit. also when i was in college i used to try and find the most secluded places to poop. but this one time it back-fired on me. i went to the lobby of my dorm to take a pooper, well i stunk up the shitter something feirce, then when i walked out there was a group of girls sitting in the lobby...i wasn't sure if they had heard the turd rockets or smelled them....to this day i still wonder.

Well in 8th grade, I had an incident imvolving me like that. I was talking to a guy i didnt like, and the cop was always watching me, cuz i always fought people. So one day he grabs me from behind but i thought it was the other dudes friend and i socked him straight in the temple and he went down. I got charged with assaulting an officer with 2yrs proba and 6months sentence

freshman year, there were these guys that were somolian and part of some kinda mob, but they had a day planned out where they were coming to school with guns to just start shooting... someone knew that they were going to do it, and told the day it was happening, and officers went to arrest the guys and they all started booking it to there lockers to grab the guns they had, but cops were and administration were everywhere and caught them before they got to anything..
never saw them again...
the next day there were some cops, but that was it...
they had more cops on 4/20 then they did then lol.

on 4/20 they had about 6 undercovers, 5 regular rollers, 2 k-9 units, and not sure how many sheriffs..
and each car was loaded with police, they were everywhere

Well we are told we are on lock down then about an hour later we where told that they was a bomb threat and to go to homeroom the school had been searched. We went home 12 minutes earlier. The one thing I still wonder to this day is why did we go inside if we could get blown up. We had another threat later that year and one of the elementary schools had a threat to(talk about fucked up). About two years later we still don't know who wrote this on the bathroom wall.

I finally got my facts straightened out, and this is the whole story.

The first fight was some shit between Puerto Rican's and Dominicans, one of them punched the cop in the face. Somehow, the cops heard rumors of a shooting or huge gangfight between PR's and Dominicans the next day, so there were 14 cops. Now whenever there are always going to be about 5 cops in the school, and fights will turn to expulsion and jail time.
