View Full Version : Research nuts help! Looking for synthetic pee

Now before you say that's easy .... whoa your horses .... I'm trying to locate a product as close as possible to a synthetic urine called "mintueman" .... a Liberty Research used to take orders for the product but for some reason it is no longer available and they don't know when or if it will be again.

Now don't tell me about Quick Fix or Ultra Kleen, they don't qualify because a heater is needed .... with minute man you just add the powder to the water and it has a thermo chem mix in to bring up the temp instantly and it had an unlimited shelf life ..... I found a product that came real close, but it had a shelf life of two years .... no good .... sometimes it could be years between tests.

Now the QF and UK are great when I have to drive to a site, but when they have an on site random ..... well I don't know if I will be able to get to my heater to open it to start the heating process ...... that's the problem .... if I am escorted to the test area and others are around I wouldn't be able to get to it .... with the minute man that is not a problem .....

So if you are a research nut and would like to take this challenge .... please see what you can come up with ....

.... it must have unlimited shelf life ....
..... must be synthetic urine .....
..... must have a thermo chemical build in to bring temp to proper level ....

.... can you do it? .... :S1:

JUST TRYING TO HELP GROW, BUT CAN'T YOU JUST KEEP SOME QF ON YOU AT ALL TIMES AND SOME TOE WARMERS OR SOME HAND WARMERS AND WHEN IT'S YOUR TURN TO DROP GO IN THE WASHROOM PUT THE WARMER ON THE SYN. PEE THEN COME BACK OUT AND TELL THEM YOU CAN'T GO SO YOU CAN LET IT WARM UP? JUST A THOUGHT.

how you doing growrebel.. I'm in the same position as yourself with the random testing.. Need on the spot pee, For the previous few years i have used something called clear choice with a chemical heat activator something the same as you have previously described....

I have now changed to QF V4 after coming on here and hearing everyone blasting on about QF, so my clear choice expired @ crimbo and i mad the move.. I have put up a few post asking fellow dodgers if they have heard of the same sort of product only got 1 reply i think... If you do a search with my screen name something may come up..

The only thing i wasw para about was adding the heat activator.. Didn't know if they could detect it or what, luckly i have never used it in anger..

O ye the shelf life for it was 2 years..

Yes QF has a two year shelf life. But Spectrum Labs (the manufacturer) can exchange expired batches for new ones. For more info, call the 1-800 number present on urineluck.com
513 Ventures can also exchange old QF batches as well. Their phone number can be found on detoxforless.com.
When theres a will, theres a way.

Yes MM synthetic had an unlimited shelf life - because its powdered. Once mixed don't expect powdered synthetics to last more than three days.

Sad to say, but it sure looks like MM had gone the way of 78 RPM records. An extensive search on all major engines reveal no info on MM, nor did it reveal any vendors that carry MM. Anybody that can prove me wrong, please post the website (sans link).

On a personal note, I prefer premixed over powdered all the way. One advantage is that you can heat premixed syntho repeatedly without harm, making it excellent for home practice drills. Because it requires mixing, powdered urine, on the other hand, is virtually a one-shot deal.
Another advantage is that premixed syntho's can be home tested (using the Urinecheck7 test stick) to see if all of the urine constituent "buffers" are within the acceptable ranges. If they are, then you can be sure that the batch will pass the actual test at the lab. Powdered urine, on the other hand, uh..well, you know..

QF has a heating pad already .... so this would be of no help .... thanks anyway ...

:noel:

I actually rely on my lavapad, seems how it heats (the urine) in 10-15 minutes, plus the handwarmer packaging is loud opening in the bathroom or wherever you open it and you have to shake the handwarmer. the liquid handwarmer activates at the push of a button and can stay rubberbanded to the quick fix at all times. way better.

I was hoping someone like you would post .... thanks for your good work. I didn't know about sending in expired QF for fresh .... that would certainly solve the self life problem ...

I'm afraid you may be right about MM. I'm surprise no other manufacter has try to created its like.

I still like the MM you can get two shot out of it if you have the water warm enough to begin with .... during the winter months the bottle doesn't get as warm and you may have to use 1.5 of the powder. True it doesn't last after the mix is made, but it doesn't have to .... once the temp is recorded I'm home free.

I don't think anyone will be able to find out any more than you, but if someone thinks they can .... have at it and post.:hippy:

the liquid warmer gets it pretty hot if its on for awhile---that is over 100. my buddy got tested and used 2 handwarmers banded to a m&m minis container and it was way too hot---110 plus. He said he poured it in the cup, swirled and blew on it and it cooled to 98 quickly. I wish i had personal exp. I wear 2 pairs of socks on one of my feet with the liquid warmer banded to the quick fix and it doesnt bulge too much, which is nice. My plan is to activate it on the way to the testing site, cuz it heats the urine in 10 to 15. havnt tried it yet but it should work

Thanks for the tip. This seems to be the only foolproof and easiest heating method I have found and I have been looking for a while. I ordered 3 as soon as I read it. The one-use hand warmers are just not a good solution for random tests when you are pretty much observed from the time you are notified to the time you are at the testing site. I am going to rig it up in a pair a shorts so that I can hit the button inside my pocket and just wear it everyday. I have the Sub-solution with powdered chem heater and thats just too much work. Thanks again and everyone who's subjected to randoms should know about this.

Can you reuse the pad? ..... I mean can you deactivate the pad if you don't need anymore heat?

Thanks:hippy:

No---thats where you would have to practice getting the temp right-----the handwarmer could be placed in a thin cloth to keep from direct contact from the bottle of quick fix but would take maybe 20 minutes to heat?

with the hand warmer alone it can take 45 minutes to an hour to heat the qf to body temperature. you can go to sporting good stores and buy additional ones for relatively inexpensive. i keep them on hand anyway cause the old man works outside and uses them in his pockets.

Well .... it's been quite some time since the poster in PA left a comment .... could it be he/she was wrong about a store having MM .... because all my research indicates MM is no longer available. :(

Hey puggschill OLD THREAD...you still there. I'm testing in about a week...how did this stuff work for you? It's like a hundred bucks, don't want to throw down the cash unless I'll pass.

Pinkley-

It seems you are already comfortable with subbing... Is your UA going to be a random or one for a potential job? If it is a random then yes using MM might be a better on-the-spot alternative. But if you know the date of the test QF is (as far as i know) 100% effective and would do the trick nicely and for a reasonable price.

Yeah that lavapad kinda looks like the shit. Wear it everyday for back pains and take it off if it gets too hot, so everyone knows you have to use one. Then if you find out ur getting tested just throw ur sub in with it.

I'm testing in three weeks. I NEED to talk to someone who has used Minute Man, I called that shop and they carry it but wouldn't answer my questions over the phone and it's a hour and thirty. If you've used this shit hit me up...
