I hope things work out okay. The mood on the board this past week, what with tragedies, scares, and general depression has been, well, depressing.

People go through life, feeling ups and downs, and the further our downs are enhances our ups. Don't listen to anyone who says "get over it" or "it'll be fine" because grieving and sorrow are natural human feelings. It's okay to cry (yes, even for you guys out there) and to reach out for a hug when you're feeling hopeless...

Just remember, you are NOT alone at all. Be sad. Stay holed up in your room for a while. But come back when you feel the pain easing, and the best therapy is from the kindness of a human (or animal) heart.

Best luck to all who are feeling down this week, and as the song goes, everybody hurts sometimes. So hold on.

I think you need to put yourself in a positive state of mind to overcome unhappieness. You can't just sit around crying and feeling sorry for yourself. Life is too short to waste doing that.

Sometimes, if your unhappiness is the result of something that bears heavy on you, it's not that easy. Like if you lose someone really close to you. In that case, it just takes time. Time for mourning, remembering what you had, looking back and appreciating it and missing it, going through all the frustration and sadness, depression. We're all human, we get like that sometimes.

Just going through all that, it takes a little time. Coming back to a happy state of being is a gradual process. I think what Purple Banana is getting across is that letting all those feelings out is the first step to getting over it. You need some closure before you can move on and it takes time.

Anyways, yeah, I hope everyone gets over it when they can. Sorry for everyones troubles.

You don't know anything about me or what I've gone through in life. I was just offering advice that helps me when times are hard. Life is ultimatly what you make it. If you're living positivly, things will be positive. If you live negativly, things will be negative. Remember life is yours to find happiness, don't waste it wallowing in sadness.

Well as a guy, I know it sucks to be lonely indeed. There really is nothing better than having a girl you love laying next to you when you wake up. Where you can just lay and look at her sleep.

It really is the best thing in the world.

Yeah, I haven't been with a guy in a few years... Not that I need to be in a relationship every moment, but it sure would be nice to have that sort of connection. It just doesn't happen easily with me.

But life goes on, and there are plenty of fish in the sea. Unless the oceans dry up.
