Exploding trich's?!?

Anyone ever heard of that? or experienced it?

Basically a plant makes so much resin, the trichomes either break off, or actually explode and splat resin everywhere..

Its rare, but it does happen, if anyone has experienced this, what strain were you growing?

I was thinking though, if trichomes get to the point where they explode, surely they have reached maximum THC percentage, i know ppl say THC percentage for a strain is genetic, and there is a limit, so surely, there is a limit for the cannabis species as a whole, and once this limit has been reached, it cannot be improved on anymore, and could be classed 'the most potent'...

any comments/suggestions are welcome...:)

hey Ab ,
sometimes when trics. are overly ripe they lean over n resin head looks like it's poped . is this what your refeering to ?

nah, before they are even ready lol i think it was something like yumbolt, or sweet tooth, something very potent, with average yeild...

i was tryin to find it last nite, but couldnt, i will keep looking tho..
