So yeah iv been curious, anyone own one of these bad boys???
Personally i love the Satellite radio, it totally owns terrestrial radio.
my bro bought 1 about 6 months ago and i cant get enough of it. iv come across so many bands iv never heard of but i really like and now im actually going out and buyin there CD's cause of satellite radio. Obviously i listen to Howard Stern, that guys my fuckin idol :D. its crazy to since Stern joined Sirius theres been 6 million+ subscribers. AND Sirius has SOOOOO many channels, anything that suits u will be on there. they even added Nascar this past month. oh and if ur a XM satellite radio user i laugh at you cause Sirius is where its at. honestly tho the reason i pay for satellite radio is cause of the range of music and NO FUCKING COMMERCIALS :D but for some reason XM has commercials and u pay more for it. lol. and has nothing really to exciting on it

GET SIRIUS, u wont be let down

I got it and love it when it works. They got a POS car antenna that keeps giving people problems. In the two years I've had owned the radio, I've replaced my car antenna four times. Nothing better than getting stuck on "Aquiring signal" message.

i love listening to HardAttack and Octane. and a lil faction in there aswell. cant remember the channel numbers but love those channels the most. the comedy is great aswel. i have in house thing aswel. its badass.
some ppl say why pay for radio, cause NO COMMERCIALS and they play ur kinda music 24/7. i see that as a good reason lol

I've got the stilleto. The sat radio is much better than fm. The only thing is, I have to put an antanea receiver facing northwest, and my dorm window faces east, so i cant get signal here.

Greatest thing I have bought since my first car. I have it in my house, in my car, I got the boombox. I take it everywhere with me and on average listen to it from 2-4 hours per day. I LOVE, I repeat LOOOOOOOOOVE Sirius Blues 74, Sirius Bluegrass 65, Outlaw Country 63, Howard 100 and 101(ferrall is the best sports show EVER!), Buzzsaw, The Vault, etc. etc. I have 30 presets and I listen to them all plus half the other channels from time to time but those I mentioned are the go-to's.

I cannot say enough good things about the damn thing. I recommend it to everyone who doesn't like shit that sucks. That damn thing has inspired me to buy more fucking cd's than anything else, ever. I have found so much new, good, and interesting music on that thing, and the talk shows are bar none the best. Plus I bought a year's subscription almost 2 years ago and they haven't shut me down yet. My buddy just put it in his house after like 2 years of just sitting in his garage from his old car and it still worked.

You guys are lucky you've not run into antenna problems yet. So glad I got BB 3year plan. I did upgrade my online listening to the premium and do most of my listening online anyways. 100/101, 103, and 119 mostly. Hard Attack is ok, but they repeat songs too much.

I have a few friends who owned it at one point. For me I would say if you aren't going on extended trips in your vehicle constantly, it really isn't worth the money.

I've had Sirius for a few years but only listen to a few of their stations, Underground Garage, Courttv and the Blues channel but as soon as this payment runs out I'll check out XM. I have Dishtv at home which also has Sirius so am looking for something new. Lately I've been burning my own "Best of..." CD's and like them a lot better for music than what someone else picks most of the time anyway. But Dishtv canceled CourtTV a couple weeks ago so the radio is the only place I have right now to keep up on the current legal issues!

And do you know how much XM paid Oprah to do a channel? 55m a year and she only takes part on the channel for 30 min show a week! everything else is just retakes of her TV show and people talking about her. Howard on the other hand runs 2 channels and is on air 6 hours a day mon-thurs. Oprah has the "better" deal.

I just heard something a news brief when i had the Sirius on. they were saying xm and Sirius are gonna merge as 1. which would make sense, since the guy that invented it didnt wanna split the company in the first place. i do hope they keep the name Sirius tho and not xm. since Sirius being the brightest star in the universe, it makes sense :D

They only did it to share the massive losses they have both had.

neither have been a success, sirius tanked far worse howards stern took them for a ride the single biggest factor of them losing profits is paying that massive contract they guarenteed him. i know for some reason you get a chubby over sirius so you arent going to want to believe this but look it up it is true. also xm has about 10x the audience so id imagine theyd have more control but i dont know

I'm talking about the huge loses both satellite radio providers are taking as we speak, they both pay their dj's/talkshow hosts way to much especially Sirius. Look it up and quit being a moron.

I got Sirius last Jan when Stern moved and I love it, listen everyday.
I want that Stilletto too, but I think my hunny might not lemme get that since he just got me an ipod. Maybe for me birthday.

Sirius has been great for road trips, too, it is so nice not to have to try & tune in stations every couple hours.
