paraphernalia charges..anyone know?

anyone know what the fines are like for possesion of paraphernalia in houston tx..harris county. Just curious I called but it said it would be around a week before the cop turns the papers in. Just wondering what kind of damage I am looking at. Thanks in advance

Hi there, Paraphernalia possession in the state of texas is a class c misdemeanor no Incarceration but a possible fine of $500.00. Norml.org is a great provider of information for possession and what not. Its scary how big fines are for possession, you can get up to a $2,000 fine for less than 2 ounces of marijuana and possible 180 days in lock up. God Bless America. Yeah right. What a waste of the united states money.
