One day i was listening Let it Be, and thought if the mother mary they talk about in the song could be the Mary Jane... many thing in the lyrics seems to fit this, and as the beatles were real potheads, i would easily believe it was that they mean when wrote the song.
I know its not whay they said to the public, i think they said it was to the mother of someone (paul?) which was called mary, but i doubt it very much... i think it was only for dont say the real meaning... :jointsmile:

Mary was Paul's mother. When he was 14 she died of breast cancer.
