extreme noob needs help

got my first tinny of weed. firstly, how do i tell if its good or bad quality? how do i tell if it needs deseeding and how do i deseed it? and whats the best way to smoke it?

well you deseed it by breaking up the buds that you get it in, but hopefully you wont have to do that, and do you have anything to smoke out of?? if not i suggest making an apple pipe.. im sure if you search on this board you can find how to make one...

the answer to the last question depends. what i do when i have nothing "professional" to use is get a soda can. empty it/wash it out, and make an indent in it that flattens out (or a little less or more than flat, don't worry about being exact). after that take a thumb tack, and poke about 10-15 small holes in the center of the indentation. then just put the weed on top of the holes, and breathe it in with the place that you would normally drink out of.

kinda difficult explanation, maybe someone else will give you a better one.

Are you saying that you just got your first sak? for now you can just pinch it and if it sticks to one of your fingers it's good enough. Usually you only take seeds out when you see them, if they're there then you take them out. save there your first. Some with what you got. If your hiding it then use something disposible (Can, apple, bottle, ect.). the best for now would probly be to use a can. Kinda gross but good hits for your first time. . .

wait how is a can gross? assuming you drink it and wash it out? i don't see anything gross about that... but once again, soda can is the quickest and easiest way to use it.

because you taste the (whatever material a can is made out of), and its probably not very good for you, vs. a glass pipe you just get the nice taste of the bud

ive tried salvia before so i have a stem pipe and a bong. i smoke port royals, so i know how to roll a joint. so i break it all apart, and just roll one as if i was rolling tobacco? well, i tried that. smoked half the joint before i started feeling effects. mostly its a WEIRD headache and some buzzing here and there. not pleasant at all. it also kept popping as i smoked it, from the seeds i gather, but i couldnt find any. precisely what should i be looking for?

Ya the poping and cracking was deffinatly seeds and that is also where the headache you had came from. And if you dont really get high it probobly schwag weed the better the weed the higher you get vise versa.

Looks :Check for crystals(called trichs), color(stay away from anything with excessive dryness or brown colors to it), smell(usually looking for somethign a little moist smelling maybe some type of pine or fruity or skunky feel), and look for pretty compact buds.

cant see anything resembling crystals, its like a pale green with some brown to it, its definitely very, very dry, but compact and smells a little of fresh cut grass and pines. hows that?
when i decompact it its full of little teeny weeny tiny greyish dots, dont know what those are.

Yes weed can get mouldy - especially if it is a little damp. If the weed is very dry then this is much less likely.

If you are only getting a headache - are you sure you are smoking weed?

Usually if you get a headache then the weed has some impurities like fertilizers left in there (this won't kill you) or seeds etc but if it just gives you a headache and doesn't get you high then, well.....

it definitely looks like weed. but yeah, besides a buzzing sensation and that bad headache im not getting anything else. tried smoking pure from a pipe, tried smoking a pure joint, and tried a 50/50 weed / tobacco joint all to the same effect.

Just rip the weed apart. If there is any seeds or stems throw them out. If there is seeds that means its not great weed.

Good quality has a strong smell, nice color (not brown) and trichrome crystals. Deseed it by breaking it up, the seeds will come out on their own and ya just pick them out. As for the best way to smoke it - that's up to you. I like blunts and waterpipes myself.

Seeds are very tiny and round like a ball. There very obvious... Just run your finger through the weed while breaking it apart. Have fun with the weed bro. Im out to school to go get lifted =)

sounds like you may have gotten some commercial stuff(not good weed), but that is merely speculation. However if you are new to this lifestyle brick should get you high just fine.
