a few questions

i want to grow 1-2 plants stealthyin a closet/cabinet i have a few questions
would starting the plant with 12/12light makes it flower faster right? does this also cutbackont he outcome of the yield i mean will it make the plant less than 2 ft high?
and how do i get a timerto automatically put the lights on and off 12/12

ok so in a plants life when it gets 12/12 lighting it will flower not flower faster it will start flowering when you have it on a 12/12 light cycle yes the sooner you do it your yeild will be smaller an you might be able to find a timer that does that but regular plug in timers work fine u just change the lights to stay on for only 12 hours instead of 18 when u change form veg to bud

yes but i heard you could cut the plant to harvest time by starting the plants 12/12 as soon as they sprout

You do not want to start your plants in 12/12. A 12/12 photoperiod would force the seedling to sprout and go straight into flowering. I remember pics on o.g. of an experiment on this. It was a very very tiny plant and yeilded less than a bowl of bud.

You should read the boards, perhaps buy a book or two. Its a fasicinating plant. If you love to smoke and are even considering to grow, research now and the more effort put in now will save you 100s of failed attempts. :)

i personally have no exp with this strain but i thnk this is what you want. or at least the impression i get.

otherwise, you'd have had to actually read more than this thread. like maybe on topping or pruning, or scrog screens... etc. general growth? looked at other peoples grows to get idea... there are methods for controlling height.

Hey man no offense but you are in for a long rocky grow experience if you have that attitude! You can go the lazy way but just don't be surprised when you find that growing is like an addiction and after first harvest you only want to do things better and more efficiently. Anyways, timers are about $35-$30 at your local hydro store and usually a little less at wal-mart. Light timers are simple and the best to get are the type that have the pegs that you can push down and pull up depending on when you want the light on or off. These pegs are usually in 15 minutes intervals and are excellent for lights. Water timers needs to be digital

It seems to me that starting a seed on 12/12 does not mean that it's going to show sex or finish much faster than a plant thats on veg lighting and then switched 12/12. Plants have to mature. Wether it's on 12/12 or not. If you go 12/12 the plants going to grow a little slower and maybe in three or four weeks it will show sex. So I dont think your really gaining much with 12/12 as upposed to veg lighting for a couple of weeks then flower
