Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Cha-Ching
Mad Farmer M.O.A.B.
4 seeds germinated 11/11 - 3/4 females! Took a long time to show sex though
1st one vegged 39 days (12/20)
2nd one vegged 49 days (12/30)
3rd one vegged 53 days (1/03)
They stretched a ton into bloom. These pics are from today 1/28 so the one on the left is on day 39 bloom, one in middle is on 29 and the right is on 25. The counter top behind them is 37" high so they got kinda big
Much lankier than the previous few grows I've done, which were more indica like strains, chunkier and fatter. The buds don't seem near as thick on these, but long, skinny fingers. All 3 have similar characteristics and growth pattern, and looks like they will all top out on size about the same. Easily the most stable pheno/strain I have had from Nirvana. Not much smell to them, trichome development is strating to kick in a lot more over the last couple days.
Had a little ph problem with my wellwater, which is why the fans are a little burnt looking, and can't figure out why the middle one is already so yellow - I'm going to add a little extra N to its next feeding. Probably gonna be a pretty long flower time on this one, they don't seem to be progressing fast compared to my recent crops - I'm figuring ~ 70ish days

i would add a dash of n to the middle one, keep the rest on your usual schedule.

Gaining weight and trichomes nicely - still growing upwards though.. augh! - had to lower my shelf and readjust everything else in the bloomroom. Still fighting with Ph a little, damn my well, and the extra N didn't really green up the middle one. New growth looks good though, and that one actually has the largest bud structure of the 3 so I'll just keep on keepin' on.
Pic 3 you can see the stem of one is purple striped - is this a bad thing/deficiency of some sort? I have noticed it on one or two other plants I have going in various stages
Just started them tonight with 1/2 strength Cha-Ching, which is a 9-50-10 NPK rating, and contains calcium, magnesium, boron, manganese, sulfur, molybdenum, iron, copper and zinc. Should have all the macro and micros taken care of, we'll see how they respond.

I see a light bulb some salt and duct tape on the table there, do I see a light bulb vape in this weed's future?
Very nice weed BTW.

Nice looking colas. Wouldnt worry about the N diff., you are deep into flower. They are a bit streched as you said, but you grew some nice ass plants for your first time, and you know what not to do next time. All about learning my friend, you are well on your way... what a beautiful community to allow us to help one another out..

Hey i just got a quick question for you tokudai. Ive been sitting here looking at all yor magnificent plants, and i started to wonder if you actually smoke all the bud you get off of them. Do you sell a lot of it off or something? Cause it would seem as though youd hve to, because smoking all the buds off of like four plants would take me a year!

^ Well, One plant does not really make a ton of buds - These for example will only be somewhere between 1-2 oz apiece likely. I try not to sell, I have a few regulars that I keep in greenery for free - take it out in trade if you will. They buy the beers/food when we go out, pay for entrance fees and such. If I need muscle/labor they are always willing to help. One guy keeps me in farm fresh eggs and fresh chicken whenever I need.
Plus you'd be surprised how much more you smoke when A) it seems like its free, B) you have jars and jars of different strains and C) you don't have a traditional 9-5 job

NP Xcrispi - you should join in on the racing thread in the hobbies forum. Sounds like you have a cool setup!
Heres my latest pics on these suckers...What a difference 9 days and the Cha-Ching makes huh? They are taking up a lot more room than I wanted, but they should yield pretty good. In the group shots they are in the same order as above, so its easier to see the progression
Flowering times are now at day 61, day 51, and day 49 L to R
The youngest one looks like it is going to be massive, its already bigger then the other two, and has the best, most punguent smell. Very piney with barely a fruity/sickeningly sweet smell. It also seems to be the most sativa of the three, judging from the leaf shape and growth pattern. I think she will be my revegger to see if I can get some clones
Oh and hey this is my 420th post!

Chopped one of em (the middle one) down today - I sampled 5 different leaves and they were all cloudy trichs. Out of my samples I saw maybe a dozen or two clear. Maybe the yellowing or initial lack of N in this one caused it to mature earlier, or have a shorter lifespan - dunno. The other two are still going strong though - about 1/2 cloudy on the oldest one, and the youngest is still clear, both of them gaining weight like crazy.

2 down and curing, this last one is on day 69 - judging from the other two its got about a week - 9 days to go. Huge calyxes all over and nice skinny sativa-ish leaves - hopefully shes a champ. The other two plants I have curing have a real lemony scent, and dense little rock nugs. Should be a good smoke, I haven't even sampled it yet. I'm waiting for it to be fully cured before I "appraise" it
Another good one from Nirvana in my book so far. More proof you don't have to pay out the nose for some good genetics

Aww shucks ma'am, t'weren't nuttin (kicking ground shyly). I just give 'em what they want and they do the rest. Ever notice you rarely see a plant that dies from underwatering or undernuting, and never see one that dies from being over ventilated? :P

Man, that looks absolutely glorious!!! How tall were they when you put them into flower and how tall were they when they finished?
Again, very nice grow and like crispi said above me i can't wait for the somke report. This is a strain that i am looking into for my self so i want to see how the product came out.

...Elvis has left the building!
Chopped the last one down today at day 74, as I was starting to get tinges of amber in my samples, and didn't want to "infringe" upon the cerebral type sativa high that she (hopefully) offers..
They were about 18-22" when I put them into flower, and topped out just under 4-ft in the pots/cans I had them in. Stretched to probably 40+ inches in the first couple weeks. Nirvana says 10-12 weeks in flower, so one was early, and the other 2 were right in that window.
Tested a couple of the curing nugs (damn i can NEVER wait til they are "finished" curing to sample lol). Took 2 BTs this afternoon..
They have a very piney, lemony flavor. Tastes like a weak Lemon Pine Sol smells. A little harsh/green, very light tasting, not much aftertaste, and even in a fully milked bong, I didn't cough at all. Very up, mental buzz, kinda speedy actually - after sampling it I cleaned my whole house and then went shooting in the backyard LOL. Pretty damn accurate too ;). Most of the effect seems to be in the head, as in I didn't feel tired or like kicking back at all. My mind was racing at times, I found myself trying to do all sorts of things at once (Adjust sights AND change aiming, and try to feel the wind and scope out grow locations and changing stance etc etc) Had to kinda of slow myself down to sort things out one at a time - It wasn't as easy for me to "get in the zone" with whatever I was doing.
Pretty easy comedown, but quick - the buzz only "really" lasted like an hour and 1/2 or so and I was REALLY hungry - dunno if its cause I didnt eat breakfast (I rarely do) or the extra energy I used in cleaning or just mentally kinda starved or something, but I grubbed hard when I got home. Or maybe the leftover Corned Beef was that good :)
I'll revisit this review after another couple of weeks, see if anything has changed. I'm really looking forward to a couple of interesting babys I got going right now, plus I'm doing a test run on a strain - so that should be fun..
