hey all,
just got really baked with a mate at the beach, lately i love doin this, i think back to when i was a kid first smoking in dirty public toilets, looking at shit, and i think to now, smoking on the beach with beatifull waves clouds at night and a huge ass moon, NOTHING BETTER
anyways, whenever i get high i get deep, but my deepness isnt wise deepness, it is comedic deepness, when sober it is just dismissed as stoner logic, so heres a thread for those of u like me who think this crap, came up with 2 lil things today....
firstly, was listening to james browns play that funky music white boy, anyone else think that was code? like the whiteboy being his favourite dealer? and playing that funky music, or laying down the boogie till he died mean, keep givin me weed brother???
also, was sitting down lookin at the clouds (its night atm) there was this one amazing point where the clouds made a circle around the moon and from one angle i say a white shining blue light, like light as daylight with a hot sun, behind the dark clouds and it was like G-d had opened a vortex to heaven, like He was giving me a rare glimpse at heaven, it was an experience man, i saw it, and i got to thinking, is this how whichever zepplin member who wrote stairway to heaven came up with it???

haha man thats cool, only stoners can relate to that. Anyone else would be like wtf.
I come up with that kind of stuff all the time..... but i always forget.... always.

People who smoke weed, enjoy it and respect it will see things that other people would never be able to even comprehend.
We're the chosen ones.
Jah wants us to smoke, so as must do everything in our power to carry out his wish.
I have the devine right to smoke.

People of Jah do indeed have it made. But I am a christian man and believe it is my divine right also, it has provided me with alot of insight to be honest.

i was high the other day and was thinking about the way people perceive and remember things and i developed a theory of how memory and perception. ok, so you start off at central known solid memory as a referent and other memories branch off of this like the limbs of a tree. everything you know is perceived as how it relates to a previous memory. ex: i know that the grass is green because i know what the color green looks like. the ideas you remember the best are the ones that are tied to a powerful memory. this is why you can remember events that occur during very memorable times in your life better than you can remember some random event, because they branch off from a very strong memory/emotion.

I would absolutely love to read that. A true, intelligent stoner could probably decipher the meaning of life from its pages. Oh my god, guys, imagine if we had a book of the collected weird stoned thoughts of every stoner! The meaning of the universe would definitely be there!
That's a really good idea... to write a book.
I may also do the same thing.
But as freedom said, we're bound to find out the meaning of life, the REAL meaning. And so many other explanations.

Okay, serious question. Lately I've been really going through a hard time in my life with realizing who I am and just stuff like that (normal teenage bullshit) but lately, I've been using pot to help me find the answers. I feel better, and I feel like I have found the path. My question is, did anybody else use pot to help them get through their problems? And I don't mean use pot an escape, but used pot to get answers?

Yea I accidently when to church stoned. My parents suprised me and picked me up from a friends for 5 o'clock saturday mass. I felt like I understood everything it was so insane I knew god it. Part of me feels really bad but part of me thinks it was good and I really got to know Jesus and God. It was such an insane expierence. I forget some of the really important stuff though.
Praise Jah for this amazing herb. Give it respect, and it'll respect you.
We have the foundation to better outselves. If those morons who discriminate against us because we choose to smoke a plant want to live in ignorance, then they can. But i will never help them.
Jah gave us this plant, we must show him how appreciative of it we are, and how it helps us in everyday life.

From a philosophical and spiritual point of view, I think that stoners are destined to discover what it's all about. Cannabis is the gift left to aide us. Those too ignorant to use it will be forever left in the dark.

I tend to be skeptical of answers to lifes great questions that only make sense when I'm stoned. But maybe that's just because I'm not stoned all the time.
There was that time when I realised that the Cat in the Hat was actually just the personification of a question mark. That was, and continues to be, pretty deep...

I used pot because I was curious, and nothing else. But nothing relieves stress more than going and getting high with some friends. For me, at least.

Today I had the strangest idea when stoned... I was downstairs smoking and I was looking at the heater and the pilot light in the basement.
And I thought, what happens if you put a surface over that small flame, and basically fried a bunch of bud over it, so the smoke goes through the vents and basically hotboxes the whole house... get a houseful full of people, everyone throws down and gets baked
Of course, I'm sure there's problems in actually rigging it to work, along with getting that many people involved, but that's OK, still a fun idea to think of

okay the other day i was at the beach again, and i was telling my mate this joke involving a cat, a bird, a cow, a bull, a rabbit, a fox, a farmer and a million other things, anyway he sits in the sand and starts drawing it out, they looked like these amazing cave style paintings, and i just thought, what if cavemen got really stoned off of some herb or something, either by smoking, eating or whatever then just drew it out on the walls, not only that but if we got high an looked at them would we be able to understand what they were trying to stay? tap into that universal stoner state of mind which all of us share and understand?
also would this same principle work with egyptian hieroglyphs?

I have so many 'stoner logic' stories, but I can't remember any of them right now, haha. Can you blame me though? I've been smoking up hardcore over the last couple weeks. Shit, im high as hell as we speak...or as I type. You know.
Oh! I do remember something that happened to me last night. It was more of an experience than a 'logic', but whatever. I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car and we were driving along a long parkway street. All of a sudden everything went black, or more so, everything disappeared for a fraction of a second and all that was left was black. It was like watching an old movie and there's like a little clip of the film missing so the screen goes black for that one frame. Well yeah, basically...something like that happened to me. Or seemed to of. It was insane; something i've never experienced during my smoking career.
It was like a glitch in the system. We were part of a film. As if this fragment of my life, this one frame, was missing. It made me think that I had no control, that we were just on a streaming movie. Not even realizing it.
It was insane!

firstly, was listening to james browns play that funky music white boy, anyone else think that was code? like the whiteboy being his favourite dealer? and playing that funky music, or laying down the boogie till he died mean, keep givin me weed brother???
well, james brown didn't actually write the song, but he could have meant that by covering it. Wild cherry wrote it and I doubt there was double meaning.

awesome question. you separated that people smoke during problems for different reasons, 1 to escape and 2 to analyze and conclude. I've always resented having herb in common with people from the first category. It gives pot a bad rep, when in reality it is the person who is predisposed to binge to medicate the problem and postpone resolutions.
On the other hand, herb is a useful tool to see yourself and your problem from a detached, sometimes abstract perspective, and to penetrate the emotional barrier that exists between you and your answer.
I personally never puff when I'm upset. I let the irrational thoughts dissipate, then smoke when I'm calm again.

Yes, as a designer I use it at times when I'm struggling with a technical problem and need to think outside the box. Also with creative work it can be a genuine stimulant and inspire a rapid set of ideas and imagery - a lot of which is useful to me.
Sometimes I use it before sleep and have vivid dreams which go towards working out technical problems or let me "see" a solution I was missing (wtf now I sound nuts reading that back) and I wake up the next day and I've worked it out, I write it all down and I'm golden.
Probably 2-3 times a week I lean on the weed for its services. It regularly delivers.
Maybe not what you meant and it was a more philosophical take on it but I use it to get answers - literally. Doesn't always help though and it can sometimes be a distraction or make a difficult problem even harder to work with. But you learn to manage that I reckon, over time.
