how long in veg. before flowering ?

Two questions in fact :
1. What is the minimum veg. time from seed before one can go to 12/12 ?

2. I'm planning to germinate seeds in a paper towel then place them in rockwool cubes and grow them aeroponically. Is it best to keep the cubes in a flat tray until roots begin to show through the rockwool or can I immediately put the cubes with sprouting seed into my aero system ?

4 nodes is a general rule of thumb, takes 2.5-4 weeks depending I believe.

You can veg forever! I keep mine about 10-12 inches.That way when you send them to flower,They got a little stretch room.
