need help germinating seeds

i have recently purchased the little disk where when you add water it gets bigger and it's like peat moss and the seed develips.. i was wondering how much water adn what do i need for it to sprout ? also do i just put the seed in upsidedown (pointy end down) or the other way or do i add water before the seeds ?

hello mate put your seeds inbetween some paper towels wet the paper towels drain of excess water put in a dark warm place when the seeds crack and the white tap root is showing plant it the depth of the seed root pointing down cover over and when the seed pops up put under a light.

anways do you need light to get the seed started ? and also could you use a 120 watt light.. if so ill try n slip a couple im my pocket as whell ?? please help.. i need help from the pros

Those are peat pellets and they work ok. I've heard rapid rooter plugs are far better. Anyway, xxxhazexxx was right. Put the seeds in between paper towels which are wet on a plate or something. Put them in a warm, dark place until you see a tap root. This isn't necessary, but it allows you to be certain which seeds are actually going to sprout and it takes less waiting after you put the seed in the pellet. Once you see a white taproot, put the seed in the pellet (after the pellet has been soaked in water for a few minutes and is fully engorged with water). I put the seed in so the tap root is facing sideways, it supposedly makes for a stronger root or something.

Just checked out a bit of history on this and I see this is the same dude that posted a thread in the lounge that bought him a huge ass chewing from the members and a ban; not to mention that bad karma from his actions brought a termination from Walmart. SINCE then he's made a post more/less stating that he was in the wrong so I think we should cut him a break.

Life is a learning lesson and hopefully this member has done just that.....:twocents: Nothing on you here at all stinky, you know my feelings on crooks...his post here happened before the lesson learned.

Meh to me that was a waste and a risk of getting caught for no reason. You could have easily germinated your seeds in some wet paper towel and planted them in soil when they cracked...Hasn't failed me once so I call it fail proof :p.
