sometime to substitute blunt wraps i just use nromal thin rice paper but they are harder to roll but nicer though, and pretty much everything gives you cancer. and the blunt wraps have more of the tobacco cancer shit the nastty shit. try using aledas or invisibler ones they work great

Maybe so, maybe not. But I don't believe so. Honestly blunts make me feel better than glass bowls when I'm done. Like my chest doesn't feel as hot and sore and my throat doesn't get as sore...maybe in the long run blunts will give me problems in the long run but for right now that's basically all I smoke.

Also, obviously rolling a lot of weed in a blunt would mean you're smoking more weed than blunt wrap in a sense so if you think about it a blunt filling a thin layer of tobacco wrap shouldn't be that cancerous if you ask me.

The wrap is just processed, pressed tobacco, so its no different from whats in cigarettes, really

I know for a fact they cause cancer cuz here in Canada, they have huge billboard warnings on cigarettes and shit, and blunt wraps have them too

Seriously? Well as you know blunt wraps are tobacco leaf...so are cigarettes. You can equate them on a 1:1 ratio...this really shouldn't be new or surprising news for anyone. Smoking weed isn't good for your lungs either...only less hazardous.
Im seriously considering going to a vaporizer again. I like the bong much better but its time to think about my future health. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.....

don't smoke the wraps, their disgusting and are the worst for you.......Regular cigars like a century sam, phillie, or a swisher are wayy better, those wraps you can taste chemicals when smoking and shit.......

Well, duh! They ARE tobacco! And tobacco causes cancer. Orangeman, the reason your lungs are "happier" with blunts is that tobacco paralyzes your cilia (pronounced silly-ah They are little "hairs" in your lungs that clean smoke and pollution particles out of your lungs). When the cilia are knocked out, they can't work, so all the tobacco crud is left in your lungs where it will eventually cause cancer. Pot smoke does not paralyze the cilia. Granny:stoned:

Lol what ever..it's not me that's missing out. I'll come back much later in my life to let you know that my blunt smoking did not give me lung cancer.
edit: Also I'm not saying that it wont cause cancer but I really believe that 9/10 times I'm not gonna get cancer just from smoking a freggin cigar filled with weed lol.

smoking weed is bad for your lungs too, unless your smoking like a ridiculous amoount of blunts you should be fine. I smoke like a blunt a day and im not worried bout my lungs

I smoke about 2 to 3 blunts a day. But that's only because I don't smoke the whole thing at one time. If I'm smokin with some one though I'll probably go through like 5 a day. If I'm by my self it's no reason to smoke the whole thing at one time.

im thinking they dont add chemicals to the actual wraps just the tobacco inside, we are talking about cigarellos right (swishers, optimos, phillie)
even if this is true ill stay smoking blunts.

they are made of tobacco (as mentioned before already) so yes... they can cause cancer... but so can eatting food cooked in a teflon pan... or being in an older house that used asbestos...
you can't stop cancer... period... there are sooooooooooooooooo many things that lead to cancer (as scientist insist) that it would literally be impossible to make yourself cancer-risk free....
personally, i think cancer is geneticly pre-disposed in every single human alive... just some it lays dormant forever and doesn't develope into what we know as cancer (the death) and others certain things end up making it go active...

Yeah and like SlipKnot said I also believe that cancer is like a family thing. I think this because my whole family smokes cigarettes and none of them have cancer. And I have family that is like almost 70 yrs old lol. Even my grand dad smoked cigs and he didn't die from it but he died from drinking though...But like I said I highly doubt anyone will catch cancer from smoking weed in a blunt. If you let that scare you away from enjoying one you go by other peoples opinions too much lol.

pretty sure they cause cancer... but honestly unless your smoking like 10 blunts a day I doubt you will get cancer... of course... these numbers are not scientific and my proof is not science based at all. All blunts will cause cancer... look at the boxes on the swishers... they have a warning on them...
Eventually I will limit my blunts when I get my PHX! HOLLA! but yeah... I'd watch out... cancer is no joke.

like i said :p you can get cancer from almost anything... it's kinda getting ridiculous, but it probably was always there and we're just now figuring out the world around us... and finding the links...
to avoid cancer completely you'd have to like move up in the mountains away from everyone (i.e. mainly proccessing plants) hunt/catch/farm all your own food using only organics, and use nothing but the wilderness around you... maybe a cast iron skillet to cook in... ;)
its tobacco. it has all the effects of tobacco. it isnt a lot of it but c an probably add up over time. people like to think that because they arent really smoking them for the tobacco then they can be harmful. probably a mistake
