Look up topping. This is when you cut the top flower off in short. If you don't have a strain that tends to be bushyer then it will do little help.
What kind of light are you working with? Also, you need to do this when you are still in veg.

Another idea to make it bushier is to train the upper branches sideways, so that the lower inside branches get more light=bushier. As for cloning, I just posted something in "Question of the Day" about which part of the plant roots better when clones are taken from it. Check it out.

Higher light intensity will make your plant bushier.
As will topping

Chronic does NOT respond well to topping, use a b vitamin complex or a height regulator solution. Good luck, any pics?

I disagree. I have achieved very good results with topping.
And when I top no growth time is lost the plants often grow 1 inch off their growth tips the night after.

Some strains donā??t

I have a pic of this. If you go throuht my link below for my pics and right near the top are LSTing pics of the main branch sideways and the lateral branches growing up and bushy.

What I did was I tied in three places. If you visualize the mainstalk in quarters and follow along I'll try to explain it.
First off DON"T USE FISHING LINE! It cuts into the plants then when you go to bend it a little more the top falls off.

OK so you need to figure out the best way for you to secure the ties. Some people use screws in the side of the rim of the pot and wind yarn around the screws to tie them off.

Once you figure out how to secure it I go to the top of the first 1/4 of the main stalk and tie it just a little snug more to hold it in place.

The next tie will be at the top of the second 1/4. this one will pull in the opposite direction as the first. Pull it so it is nice and snug but not enough to crack of kink the stalk.

The next one will be at the top of the third 1/4. This one will go in the same direction as the lowest tie, and opposite to the second tie. It should also bend a little bit more and a little easier. Tie it down. In the end it looks kind like a lax question mark. then when you run out of room in one direction let it grow up a little and pull it back the othe way.

Every day untie them and pull just a little bit tighter. You can also tie the top over more with one more tie, or pull lateral branched more horizontal out the side of the plant to reach more light, or tie fan leaves to the side to uncover branches.

The goal is to have the light reach as much of the vegitation as possible. Remember to take it slow and gradual. You cn change and adjust anything you want to work better for your plants.

I hope thins all helps

topping , fiming , n lst .
your choice or maybe a combonation of them depending on the strain .
i had heard of blueberry being a weak yielder in the past . i tried the strain anyways . i only topped them once and left em alone . 2 of the 3 were 10 ounces , the 3rd. was 12ounces . done in waterfarms under 2-1000w. hps .

Indicas usualy do well being topped imo but it is really down to trial and error unless you have prior knowledge of the strains prefrence.I have topped aurora indica and that strain thrived and have had the same sucsess with white russian though i topped a white widow and it under produced imo .the postman.

alrighty, sorry i was off so long. i went and got new lights because the lights i had only produced 300 lumens per sq foot, so now i have 3 lights that produce 2000 lumens p sq ft ea. the plant was budding, as i picked it up off a friend. (OG master Kush) he had it nugging when it was so small and cut all the fan leaves, so i had to trim all the nug and am now reverting it to vegetative growth so it can grow some more, i am too scared to use the fim method, but i did slice some leaves off as so they split into two branches where the original 1 stem was. I also am training the plant to grow to the side (that's why theirs foil on that one part, i didnt have any good rope or string). Also, i tried to clone it, but i did it when i was faded and didnt have the materials yet, but it seems to be pulling through. here are some pics.

So the two plants pictures are obviously the OG Master Kush - nad the little one is the Clone, not doing so well in the picture but now its pulling through.

any useful tips i could do to make my plant better, please feel free to tell me.
Thanx!

You gotta start from seed or clone young Topping is the key,Lil' bit of training then you control the growth. You Teach the plant. Then you can learn from it.I got some picks of when is the best time to start the bushey process.Lemme get them up for ya.You'll know what I'm talkin' about.
