With some people it never stops.
It is like their whole world is about this. They are never happy with anything.
and gossip...don't they have their own life to live? and why are they so worried about what everyone else is doing/saying. I stay away from these people like the plague, it is not easy though. Mostly when it is friends/family/coworkers.

Well, I always figured most people learned quick not to listen to too much shit other people are saying. I mean, I could have a complete conversation with you and not hear anything you're saying.
In one ear and out the other.

yeah I know people like that. I think most of us do. I will admit though that I'm a sucker for gosip. It's not something I'm proud of though and I don't spread it, I just like to know whats going on.

Fortunately I haven't been subjected to this since highschool, roughly a month and a half. I imagine it's funnier in the "real world" seeing people who are supposed to know better going at someones throat verbally...Heh.

When I meet a complainer I aim to make her saner.
This never works. I never speak to this person ever again.
Gossipy girlies... Before I realized theres six billion of us with all the same bullshit, I found it interesting. Now it's just idle chatter between the real discussion.

I cant stand people who complain about everything and never have anything good to say. I just want to shove a bottle in there mouth and tell them to quit being such a cry baby about everything.
Now the gossip thing I am guilty of. Im love to listen to what some skank I dont like has went and done now, its like sitting back and watching karma kick there ass. I get all warm and fizzy inside.

I don't care about anyone else's life and want everyone to leave me the hell alone.
Gossip has no room in my life. Only gets people angry.:smokin:

My friend Judy's that way. Constantly complaining and constantly talking ugly about folks. And she's the first to make a big deal of the fact that she's a good "Christian," which I find ironic. I think she does the complaining and the gossiping because she's miserably unhappy with herself and her marriage, and she wants to spread the misery. It works, too. I find myself less and less inclined to hang out with her because it's just so darn unpleasant.

Energy vampire
In New Age terminology, an energy vampire or psychic vampire is a being said to have the ability to feed off the "life force" (called, variously, qi, prana, or vitality) of other living creatures. Alternative terms for these persons are pranic vampire, empathic vampire, energy predator, psy/psi-vamp, energy parasite, psionic vampire and emotional vampire

I am so lucky to live in a neighborhood where my imediate neighbors are not priers... If a gossiper can't find a fact they will find fiction to feed their addiction...

It is actually like this for me to.. Unless the person makes a lasting impression I hear nothing really. Other times though, I just dont really hear them.
