explanation for my choice of girls over weed: have you ever had a meaningful conversation with reefer? i havent. and i've never had reefers head on my shoulder. i've never had days with reefer where getting out of bed just wasnt necessary, maybe with alcohol though.... i've never gotten naked with reefer. reefer smells nice, but in a weird skunky sort of way, girls on the other hand, i imagine thats what heaven must smell like.

I signed an ethics agreement upon entering med school that said I wouldn't use illegal drugs or do anything else illegal while in school. And I intend to honor that. It seems the right thing to do. But there's a wonderful thing that happens between spring and fall . . . it's called summer!!! So I may be able to get my weed-groove on between May and August. Until then, I'll get my highs from exercise and bootay. I definitely haven't made the decision not to smoke out of any dislike for cannabis or negative opinions about it.

Yeah it's just a couple friend's I've known forever. I've never had a 'dealer' like these kids on here...always friends or friends of friends...people who you can chill with..not just buy weed from and then say 'ok bye'.

But if I ever feel like a smoke...I still don't have it delivered usually...I just go over a friend's house. And I don't see the point in smoking all day everyday unless medically. I have before...but it gets worn out like anything.

So, I dunno what to tell ya...if you ever have a little extra money, just grab a lot or something and use it sparingly..like when you really want to smoke..not smoking just cuz you have weed (I know..can be tough lol). Or...the smartest thing to do...is call up a bud...and have him smoke with ya. You seem like you wouldn't be one to associate with people that treat it like crack, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

not me i've got scars from drinking....slip i'm sure you remember the thread about my drinking exploits where we got into a 'discussion' about overweight people... i looooooooooveeeeeeeeeeeeeee to drink. just recently have i mastered the ability to know when i've had too much. before that though, man look out....i've been black out drunk sooo many times...its a wonder i lived through it all.

oh believe me i've been drunker then most anyone reaches in their lives quite a few times, which is why i don't drink to get drunk anymore... i drink so much i end up puking... and sick for days, i got so sick of it... a prime example (although there are far many more) is when i fell outta the attic once, and landed basicly right on my ass.... (yes it hurt, very badly.. we have wooden floors) i couldn't sit down i had to lay on my stomach, so i had my grandma buy me a fifth of gold rum... i drank it all within 20 minutes... literally... i mean ask my wife she was there :p i've had my fair share of completely obliterating myself with alcohol...

over the past 7 or so years, i've probably spent a good few dozen nights, drinking way too much and end up sick as hell of days as a result... me, i never knew when to say enough is enough... so i quit for a good while, i drank nothing at all... then i started hanging out with my brother more, and learned how good a beer can be after a hard day's work, or how good a few beers while sitting around a fire at a beach can be, which resulted in what i do now... i usually have a bottle of liquor in the freezer, but it lasts me month(s) maybe one day a week i'll take a few shots with my beers to get into an elated state..

some people jsut aren't cut out for the alchol, even fewer know when to say when... it's a sad thing really... which is the main reason i say it's a shitty alternative to bud (it's my own opinion, incase you missed that ;)) not only is far more over done and brings out the worst in more people then bud does, it also is far less benifical (there are benifits to a bit of alcohol here and there, health wise) and causes alot more medical concerns... sorry i kinda took it off topic... but i take alochol and it's general abuse very seriously.. becasue so many people underestimate it's damaging capabilities it's insane.... so i have to take the time to explain myself... and my thoughts on it.

interesting post. for me, its a great alternative to smoking. it didnt used to be, back in the day when i was 17-18, i'd go to parties with a big bag of pot and about eight beers, i'd drink about four beers and smoke all night. when i went to college was when drinking sort of took over....i still smoked a lot but drinking was just way more fun for me. and once i turned 21, i pretty much forgot about weed, mainly because alcohol was completely legal. but it can be troublesome. i realized i had a problem with boozin when i would go into work smelling to high heaven of booze, my frat buddies were worried about how much i drank.....and then it all came to a pinnacle when i spent (literally) a month wasted.

but yeah in general i like to drink. a lot.
