I'm done growing the sacred Herb for a while.

A relationship gone horribly wrong is threatening to send me on a forced vacation and it's time to pack it in.

I guess all the advice I have for growers is to be SO careful when you are in a relationship... make sure it is stable... make sure that your significant other has enough honor to not turn you in out of spite...have a backup plan... archive your genetics... keep a storage unit for emergencies if you don't have a grow buddy... just be careful.

This is the final post in my grow log...

Well folks, this is the end of my log.

The crazy ex boyfriend has made it necessary for me to take out a restraining order after he kicked my door in on Saturday night.

I can no longer grow at my home because I need protection and a handgun is absolutely out of the question.

So the girlies are being scattered to the 4 winds until a time comes when I can get back on track and rebuild my operation.

One thing for sure is that it won't be at my home unless my nemesis leaves the state... I expect him to roll over on me at any moment and plan to be prepared for a visit by the cops with a lovely roomful of organic hot peppers.

Latewood, ready or not, here I come, veggie boy! lol

It has been nearly 2 and a half years since I started growing, a total nOOb, with nothing but a green thumb and a yard full of roses.

So for all you guys who stopped by the log with questions, comments, and a few good laughs, THANK YOU for being such a bunch of cool shits!

By the way, check out your local laws and consider getting a stun gun. They are relatively cheap and are non-leathe. Ol' boy gets hit with a few thousand volts of fun he won't be kicking in your door for a long, long time.

What I ended up doing is setting up friends in their own grow since I cant grow in my house.

i know exactly how you feel. its especially bad when your certain they would never do anything like that, and then all of sudden shit goes bad and they have this great big thing to use against you. but like you said, be ready for that visit proudly with peppers growing. hopefully this wont sour your desire to continue growing herb once your situation quiets down.

Better yet, move out here to sunny northern california and bath in the sunshine that is practically legal cannabis growing.

Oh and the other comfort I've got out of this was that I DID archive my genetics and I DID find a safe home for my most precious mother plants. So I won't suffer any setbacks in terms of breeding.

I see that KP is taking off too... and 2 of my other favorite peeps have said that they are thinking about leaving the boards... and the Image Reaper is already sorely missed around here... it's a real sad time.

I got a restraining order against him. I invited the cops over to photograph the damage to my home. In light of the probation violation plus the other things he is being charged with... he's just crying sour grapes and pissing up a rope.

My username is useless in court... it's just hearsay!

However, I WAS advised to also rehome my vegetable garden. It is not good to show that you are even capable of cultivating a tomato indoors, if they want to go after you for the ganj. Just gives them an excuse to come back with sniffers.

Also... I was not aware of this... apparently seeds are not specifically illegal to possess in my state! The feds could be pricks, but the locals don't care.

Countdown to spring, biznatches!!! Just you wait until my greenhouse goes up! I'ma be swimming in veggies.

I once had to shut down because of relationship problems too. My fiancés boyfriend (Bitch) was trying to cause as much damage as possible. The little psycho drama I had was spiraling out of control and I feared for my safety and freedom. Once things were at a safe level I called the police and filed a harassment complaint against him. I then sent a message to him through the grapevine. I told his friends that I meant him no harm but simply never wanted to have contact with him again. I then told them I had called the cops and filed a report, they looked shocked but I quickly assured them that my only intent was for this to be all over. He got the idea. It has been several years no contact. Sweet..

Growing pot may still be illegal most places but in the eyes of some judges it is a lesser evil. Other crimes such as blackmail, assault, or making threats against a person often are viewed as more severe. In fact I am pretty sure if you are in the US and make a threat against someone you can be charged with terrorism under the patriot act.

Here in San Francisco the police have a zero tolerance for domestic violence. A fellow ex-home grower I know once had his girlfriend freak out on him (Meth sucks). When the police arrived there was the obvious smell of marijuana being grown and smoked. They gave a knowing glace upstairs then told him in no uncertain terms that they didnâ??t care what was going on up there, but if he so much as touched her he would be going away for a long time. God I love my city.

Eventually both uncomfortable and dangerous situations were defused. We hope the same for you.

All the shit that went down in January is wrapped up perfectly.
I walked away poorer, and wiser, and most important, FREE.
The local rumour mill has my ex planning to leave the state as soon as humanly possible.

This weekend, after getting a court order to bring a police escort and retreive the rest of his shit from my house, the shithead is gone from my life for good.

Markass... no, it;'s not Demeter, even though I've hooked her up with access to my strains... she doesn't have enough space to house all the ladies... and I still can't get over her yields in that tiny little cave she's got going! Good thing she's a little slip of a thing- I could barely sqeeze into her flower room, much less WORK in there!
Potent indicas... well, you know my obsession with the Bushy Old Grower genetics... now their availablity is limited to Plan B Collective... I have to say their Black Indica is a very well done strain, FROSTY and with a wonderful sweet/spicy smell. I have not yet smoked it but my girl is growing some and it's coming down soon... smells amazing.
I dunno, honestly most strains listed as indoor are indicas anyhow... I'm a sucker for anything with a classic earthy flavor, or citrus, especially grapefruit...mmmm.... Blockhead if you can find [or afford] it! Sweet tooth otherwise.

Orangeman... yeah you have to think about that. But on the other hand, it's not that you have to pick solitude, you have to pick CAREFULLY. Once you get to be my age you will probably want to have a companion in your life! Promise!
