And i think i already have a problem. Plant is about 2 weeks old and the soil has got a green algae type stuff over the top of it. Im thinkin its mold, should i toss it?

It's probably algae. I had some of that at the beginning as well and it stopped as soon as I got some proper airflow going in the area. If you already have good airflow then it might be something else... hard to say exactly without pics!

yeah i apreciate it, i would post pics but my cell phone cam sucks. I had a a/c unit runnin on the cab itself and i think your right about air flow, got a fan in there now and we'll see how it goes, thanks for your help.

yeah you need to have air flow to stop other growth cause it keeps those floating seeds moving and it also strengthens the stems, if you still have growth then see hwo the plant lives with it, if it's not affecting it then let it grow

If the algae is not affecting your plant or it has not got on the stem, you are FINE.. no need to panic or throw the plant away..

If you cover your soil and prevent light from hitting your soil, the ALGAE will die..

You should also NOT be watering every day.. Water every 3-10 days.. water THOROUGHLY and then let the soil dry ....
