Well the idea was nice..

Marijuana in hot oven starts fire
January 23, 2007
Police say a Wurtsboro Hills man learned this the hard way that an oven may not be the best way to dry out your stash.

Wurtsboro firefighters went to a house fire Sunday morning at 7 Locust Trail, the home of Patrick Jones, 28. They discovered that the fire had started in the kitchen stove â?? and they found the wad of pot, more than a pound of it, inside the oven.

State police arrived, and charged Jones with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree arson, felonies; and misdemeanor possession of a weapon. Police said Jones also had illegal metal knuckles in the home.

Jones was arraigned and sent to Sullivan County Jail without bail, pending an appearance in Mamakating Town Court.

ya there no quick way to dry/cure well, that sucks for that dude though just wanted to dry out some bud and ends up in jail.

THC needs time to mature after you cut it off the plant don't think theres anyway to speed that up.

they really gave it to that guy up the ass just for trying to dry some weed huh? I wonder what gives the cops the right to charge for felony arson when it's his own home? what the hell is that all about.
