Lets hope the Senate stops him before he does something REALLY stupid.

Unfortunately it was "non-binding". There way of doing it without actually doing it.

They realize that pulling out of Iraq is NOT an option. This is the only thing they've got to satisfy "Joe Public".

It's called "Having your cake and eating it too.":D

Have a good one!

It's not about pulling out. Its about adding 22,000 troops.

Doesn't seem like there are any better ideas. LOL....Senate and Congress have made that VERY clear.
Not to mention that even with the 22,000 extra troops, levels will still be lower than when we were at the highest point. 80% of the violence is coming from Bagdad.....time to clean out the filth.:D

This is one mission....nothing more.

What difference does it make if they send 21,000 more soldiers? They know they can't win in Iraq. It's pointless to go further. The US must withdraw immediately. Your military leaders in their infinite wisdom sure had everything planned about before they did the invasion.

This is exactly why George Bush Sr. never occupied Iraq because he knew there was no way out.

LOL........really? Your country of origin again? I don't know about his but mine is the good old U.S.A., and I say: " get the fuck out of the middle east now", we are doing nothing but inciting discourse accross the region. If any of the assholes sending more troops had a son in the bunch, do you think they'd approve this debacle. Senator Webb, a staunch patriot has a son there and he wants Withdrawel, go figure!

And his political party is which one again?

The troops are still going and all the senate/congress has managed to do is send non-binding arbitration. Does that REALLY sound like actions resulting in immediate withdrawl? They ALL know that is NOT an option for Iraq.

They know that bush has made it to where a non-binding resolution is the only thing they can do...other than cut of funding, which won't be done because it could even possibly put the troops in more danger than they already are. He knows that congress can do nothing to keep him from doing what he wants, by god, this is his fucking country, and the American people aren't going to do shit to alter his intention. I'm so fucking pissed off that so many young men are losing their lives because of bush's arrogance..! Congress has no action resulting in immediate withdrawal. This is bush's war, and it will be till he's out..better sooner than later.
