I'm new to the homegrowing scene and i am now trying to purchase high quality seeds but it seems as if no co. sales to the US. Whats up with that? Can anyone help me find a place?

First post, been reading a while...

Is there a way to acquire seeds througout the "community" and not involving sellers from out of the country (US for me)? Buying seeds is kind of a waste of time (every bag has some) and easy way to get caught. On many sights, they say the safest and easiest way to get seeds are from other growers because you know the strain and know what you're getting...
But this site requests no begging, asking for, email addresses, etc....So my question is, for those of you willing to answer, how do you acquire them?
My situation will clear this up-
Moved to new location, know nobody, trust not many, skeptical about sending $50- to the netherlands, want to experiment with seeds (any kind, any gender, type not important). So what's the next "safe" step? Join a hydroponics support group and hope...
Your thoughts

Thanks!

Maubee- do you mean C.A.L.M.? If so, it looks like you need to have a medicinal letter signed by a doc.

thanks

well noname, that can be hard moving away from the people you know and trying to acquire good genetics........the main reason why people go out and buy seeds is because they know what they are getting and what to expect, also a lot of the bagseed is not stable, and for a beginner to start growing an unstable plant can be discouraging to a new grower when the genetics are messed up and not the grower. good luck on your search and everything will fall into place is it should

Thanks Keeko- Since there's so many online, and I'm not looking to spend a fortune (it'll all be going to my drip/cab setup), any good advice for some fairly inexpensive strains, and EASY for a 1st timer? I've been looking at white widow and blueberry a lot, but the Big Bud seems the safest bet for the yield it produces.

thanks again for your help

well Hashberry by Mandala seeds was placed in the top ten best herbs or something like that in high times(doesnt say to much) and its about $25.00 for a 10 pack of seeds, when im off in amsterdamn im mainly looking at what Mandala seeds has to offer me, great reviews with cheap prices.

I've been seeing some sites with fairly cheap seeds and other with i guess you could say expensive seeds. Does the more expensive seeds guarantee better genetics? Could you guys recommend some good seeds that you have dealt with personally?

Heres a Tip Paradise Seeds. Dutch, yes underrated and very Good not too expensive...Try them out. I Fully rec them,,not sure about the Us thing as im in Ireland but if you can get some Paradise get them..If youre a new grower avoid Serious Seeds they can produce nice plants but what you find is they are more for very experenced growers maybe except for there Bubblegum but stick too paradise avoid Nirvana unless you've no job then theyll do but Paradise for mee all the way..

Good luck Folks Peace Out From Dublin....

no, more expensive seeds does not mean better genetics. Me personally have had pretty good experience with K2 from nirvana seeds....they are cheap too. But my opinion would be go with a strain from mandala seeds, although i have no experience i have seen tons of smoke reports and have talked to the breeder Mike. He is a top notch guy just in it to help the people, his strains are not the typical "popular" stains but more medicinal stains. And they are about the same price as Nirvana seeds. whatever you do good look and safe growing

p.s. Hashberry by Mandala was top ten in high times, that just shows you dont always have to pay hundreds of dollars for genetics

I think i've decided to go with this one. Its by mandala seeds and seems to have a nice yield for a fairly cheap price.

Get your post count up... be here a while.. post your grows... give good advice... you might be included in trades in the future. It DOES happen but you have to sort of gain legitimacy here first.

.
.., skeptical about sending $50- to the netherlands, ! seedboutique and seedbay are in the UK and I send them US cash all the time, no probs.

want to experiment with seeds (any kind, any gender, type not important). So what's the next "safe" step? Join
!Ask your dealer to save you bagseeds from only high quality dank. Or save them yourself from couchlock buds... the 'up' high stuff and mexi-schwag is not appropriate for indoor growing in general.

I got my start by saving bagseeds... me, my friends, my connect... only heavy stoney indica... then growing those out... breeding my favorites to each other... and I ended up with a nice line that is inconsistent but DOES give hardy, sweet smelling, dense nugged plants.

I ordered from Rhinoseeds.com- Ordered on 1/29 and got them here in Colorado on 2/7. Fast and STEALTH shipping, paid with credit card, can't complain!!
Rhinoseeds seems to be a fair price for seeds, I'd definately order from them again...

hope this helps!
