clay pebbles

Ive read different reports about clay pebbles as a growing medium.Some claim they last for ages,otheres say they are only good for a couple of grows.Can any of you guys out there enlighten me with your wisdom? Peace. Chris

i use clay pebbles, everyone i know who uses them say they can be reused over +over again all they do is wash them in weak bleach water and then rince with loads of fresh water. i dont i only use them once:)
