I am in the kitsap area pretty frequently. The city of Bremerton is doing a restoration of the waterfront. I think its like a 25 million dollar project.

Hey guys since we were mentioning the ferries. I had a question. I have notice a ton of more police presence (ie dogs, cops, homeland security). I know thats because of the whole 9/11 thing but it makes me all paranoid when I am baked and riding the boat. I just know that police dog is going to go ape sh-t when I am around. Anyone have any thoughts? Are the dogs just sweeping the parking lots just looking for bombs or explosives or what?

in training a dog they can either train for bombs or drugs not both so yes some there are for drugs and some are for bombs. the dogs will only go off if you have it on you. but most of the time the dogs are at the cars not the pasenger area. so if you are a walk on your pretty safe if you are carring but the dogs don't care if you are baked.

If I was you, I'd go to the Vancouver Seed Bank, ask them what they have and their prices. Then go 5 blocks east towards city center to the 300 block on Hastings St., and check them out. You can also look these places up on the net. There are also one or two places just around the corner on Cambie Street. Check them out. Then you can go into the cafe, and order some lunch. Ask your server where you can buy a bit of weed, and he'll tell you (you won't have to walk very far), and you'll have it before your lunch is served. Have your lunch, and smoke a joint right there in the cafe. I've seen as much as a couple of ounces of weed sitting on the table in the restaurant. Then you can decide who has the best and cheapest beans. Just put the seeds in your pocket (loose) when crossing the border, just make sure you have no weed on you for your return. I am new to the area and I really need to meet someone who knows a thing or two about medi-can in Kitsap county. My father has terminal cancer and has asked me to be his provider, and I want to grow it for him. Does anyone know what constitutes a 60 day supply? How am I protected as a provider? I have read the laws but they are really vague. I dont want to get in any trouble or anything. I am from california, and down there where I come from we don't have any of the issues we have up here, its ridiculous. When is Washington going to catch up?
Basically, I am looking for someone with experience cultivating up here to mentor me a bit. Maybe someone has heard of convictions, how people get caught up here, what constitutes a felony, what cases get prosecuted, ect.
For one thing nobody is going to know where I live or what I am doing, I guess thats my first step in making sure I avoid the man, but I really need some advice/support. Thanks a ton for all your help!!!

Its fairly easy to be a provider here in washington. You'll want a copy of his medical authorization and a signed document stating you're the caretaker.
The Sheriff and prosecuting attorney are real assholes in kitsap so keep your growing to yourself.If an officer should ever show up absoluetly NEVER say a thing to the cops. If they have a search warrant show them your documentation and say only you want an attorney.
In washington if you're a caretaker you are NOT allowed to use MJ. The limits for growing are still in the process of being set. Right now there are no limits which is part of the reason people are being arrested. It looks like the limits are going to be like Oregon's. 6 mature plants,18 immature plants and 24 ounces of finished product.

Thanks a ton!! What if the fuzz did come to my door with a warrant, how are they going to determine whether or not I have been smoking? Do they test me after they arrest me or what? That would really bite to grow it and not be able to enjoy any of it. I would do it if I must, but the temptation would be really hard to overcome.
