Soil mixes

Has anyone here used the one of the foxfarm formulas? If so which and how did it work for u? Also has anyone tried the black gold soil? Any links on good soil preperation (sp) or mixes would be awesome. Thx

Lots of grade a info!!! thx. Im interested in using a soil mix that I can control all nutes through fertilization. I guess im saying a soil with 0-0-0 if that is possible. Maybe thats a soiless mix? If u know how i can accomplish this please let me know. I have found all this info on overgrow but since the site has drowned im a lost cause. Do-do-do Weed effects the memory.;) thx for the help!

If u want a 0-0-0 mix then yes a soiless mix is what u want, im using a mix of 1/3 palm peat,1/3 vermiculite and 1/3 perlite, its excellant trust me, drainage is great and stays nice and moist for 2-3 days. All nutes in the soil are what you add after the fact.

Remember dont add nutes too early or you'l burn the seedlings, and when you do only a 1/4 strength, use a high nitrogen nute (30-5-5) for veg and a high phosphorus nute (5-25-5) for flowering.
