Weird dark buds

Okay, I got stuff today from my normal guy, and it all looked pretty normal, except for three of the buds. His stuff is always pretty good, but these buds are really dark and weird looking. It almost looks as though it is dying or burnt, but even the dark buds are still visibly coated in yummy white crystals. Any ideas on what the deal is?

those buds look purple to me.. prolly from someone screwing with temps but i could be wrong, looks pretty good though

Is the herb dry ? It could have been stored in a freezer and it caught frost bite. hahahahaha

Oh and the normal looking one came from the stuff I got today, so the same bag as the dark. Also, even the normal looking buds have parts that are dark, so I'm sure its all the same batch.

LOL Bud catching frostbite....that made me laugh pretty hard. Yeah I thought they might be purple, but they just look ashy almost. I'll smoke it up in half an hour or so and see what its like.
