Chambers in Bongs...

what exactly do they do? when i hit them they hit much better could have just been placebo but I think it hit a lot smoother.

They "chambers" or percolators cool the water, the smoke passes through each chamber full of water and the smoke cools down there fore easy to inhale and take bigger hits. I have a bong with a perc and it rips so nice!
